I was hooked from the behind and couldn’t put this down. My heart beat faster with every page turn that I finished this in one sitting! Well written, smooth and each chapter flows and links to the one before and after. A definite re-read on my list!

good suspense

This was a very enjoyable book. Started off on a simple, straightforward path that got more convoluted and twisted as it progressed. Well written and well plotted, with interesting characters and very suspenseful. I'm often able to predict the bad guy and or general ending - not so here. The only thing I thought was off was that the end section of the book was twisted and had characters making stupid decisions when they hadn't earlier - it seemed a bit forced and rushed. I've read other books by this author and will continue to search out her work.

This book is a great read! The beginning gets you hooked and the end leaves you satisfied! It tells all of what happened and how things end which is a must for me because I hate being left on a cliff hanger lol but it’s an awesome book and well written! The suspense it gave me towards the end, I couldn’t put the book and had to finish it! I will be buying more of the Authors books!:)

This one really takes you for an adventure, keeps you asking who, what will happen next and how much more can we take!?

I did enjoy the book, I was surprised a few times, the end seemed a tad rushed but very good overall.

Riveting story

I enjoyed this book through and through. I was wondering how everything was connected throughout, and I think the other did well connecting the dogs. Everything made sense in the end. Occasionally, the narrators going to past to present was confusing, but just a little bit. I enjoyed Meredith’s characters, and Leo felt like a realistic teenage boy. I still wish there was a little more written about him.

Too Neatly Wrapped Up

Honestly this wasn’t a terrible book and the twists were unpredictable up to a point. They kept coming and coming.

The story also wrapped up a little too neatly with every little thing having an answer. And some ways that just felt unrealistic.

While I wouldn’t say this book had a happy ending, everyone seemed to get their comeuppance.

While I am not a fan of the writing style of each chapter coming from a different character and going back-and-forth in time, this was a great read. I read this in approximately half a day. The ending was surprising as well. Excited to start her next novel.
