I may be small and pretty, but what I lack in intimidation factor, I make up for in violence.

I made a vow five years ago that the motorcycle club responsible for my brother’s death would pay the price, and I’m finally ready to collect. May God have mercy on the men who hurt my brother, because I don’t plan to.

Accidentally breaking the nose of the deadliest man in the city wasn’t my best move. Xaviaro Saviano, trigger man for the Moretti Crime Family... and now my own personal stalker. But if I have to go through him to deliver well-deserved justice, so be it.

As strange as it sounds, Xaviaro seems to want to help me more than he wants to hurt me. I can’t shake the man no matter what I do. Threatening him feels like foreplay, tying him up only turns him on… I could play nice, but that’s never been my strong suit.

I’d be lying if I said he wasn’t starting to grow on me, especially when he calls me his Deadly Little Sparrow from his knees. I’ve never met a man who could handle me, let alone one who can’t stop begging me for more.

Can love and revenge live in the same heart? I guess there’s only one way to find out…

    I’ve never read a story with a couple dynamic like this but I’m obsessed and could not put it down. It was so dark but witty, absolutely brilliant

    A little slow, definitely dark, but still a really good story! And who doesn’t love a broken nose meet-violent???

    It was definitely a first book in a series, with a lot of exposition and introduction of a whole cast of characters. I got a little worried in the middle, but Sparrow got his vengeance and I always love a good ending where the bad guys get their comeuppance. I also love a “bad guy” with a good heart, and Xaviaro definitely fits the bill.

    There was some serious spice here, and I loved the dynamics between Sparrow and Xaviaro. And their organization and their little family is super interesting and I can’t wait for everyone else’s stories.

    Just the right amount of gore and death. The author didn’t shy away from it but it’s not a blood bath the entire time either which I appreciated.

    The romance was perfectly dark. Sparrow and Xav were made 2 halves of the same while and they fit together so well pretty much right from the start.

    Heat level a 4/5 for me which is saying a lot. I love that Sparrow is close to looking like a twink but is the Dom to his Italian submissive hit man “murder marshmellow” as he call him lol.

    I liked that the fire in Sorrow makes Xav trust him to be his first Dom and watching them work out what works for each other ::chef’s kiss::. I also love how Sparrow is a good Dom and performs aftercare for Xav.

    I will totally read more in this series! Can’t wait for more!

    Xaviaro is the hitman for the Morretti crime family and he gets his nose broken while in a bar while witnessing some guy trying to fight the local biker gang. He doesn't recognize the guy who did it, but notices his sparrow tattoo on his neck. Sparrow is looking for revenge for the killing of his brother by a biker gang and accidentally breaks the nose of the hitman for the Morretti crime family. Xaviaro needs to know who this mysterious stranger is and starts to stalk him. He is totally turned on by the dominant way Sparrow handles himself and eventually their paths cross and Xaviaro finds himself on his knees for Sparrow. This is a kinky book with lots of humor, blood, obsession and morally grey characters who have you falling for them. I wasn't expecting their brand of kink but was into it immediately. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to continue this series with the next Morreti.

    Enjoyable read, liked their dynamics and their rolls in an equal partnership. There's implied strength in the found family vibes that weren't suuuper present in this book, but seem to hint at more in future stories.

    No reread I think. Good voice actors.

    Xaviaro and Sparrow are unexpected but somehow just work. From their first “meet” until the end, you can tell they just being together. I’ve read pretty much everything K.M. has published and this is on the darker side for her, but it is done so well and with the same amount of humor and spice that we have come to expect from her. I can’t wait until the second book comes out, and to see Elio’s story. I hope we also see a story for Allessio, Sal, and Enzo!!

    One of the hottest things is a deadly, dangerous man that is also ready to submit and leave control to someone else and Xaviaro is the perfect example of that. Being the mafia hit man his reputation precedes him and he's feared by most.
    But when he meets Sparrow he finally finds his match and someone that can bring him to his knees with just words. And Sparrow whose main goal is taking revenge finds that there's still something worth living for again.

    I loved this book and the dynamic between Sparrow and Xaviaro and I can't wait for the next book and couple.

    I'll be honest and say I wasn't entirely sure if this would be the right story for me. I'm SO glad I took the chance. Sparrow and Xavi are fire. Sparrow is sassy, powerful and out for revenge. Xaviaro didn't see him coming both figuratively and literally! Sparrow is on a mission to right some wrongs that happened to him. Turns out, him and Xavi enjoy the same things! Primal play is something I like in small doses. It is hot in this story. I can't wait to see what happens with this couple and the rest of the family. I have a feeling we're in for a wild ride!!!
