About this item
I know most would probably describe me as a little uptight, unwilling to change, set in my ways…
The truth is, I just like my life the way it is—simple and predictable. I have everything I need—good friends, family close by, and the automotive business I've built from the ground up. I'm proud of the life I've made in this quiet, small town. Nothing needs to change.
At least, that's what I believed up until the day Damon Deveraux, a lively and bold little whirlwind of a man in lip gloss and short shorts, saunters into my life and changes everything. He captivates me with his bubbly charm and adorable clumsiness, and suddenly, we're fast friends, spending all our time together.
But I don't know what's happening to me. I'm just so confused. Because I've never fixated on another man's pouty lips before. I've never obsessed over the curve of another man's body. I've never desired the feel of another man curled up against me.
When I discover Damon's camboy site and—accidentally on purpose—subscribe to his live show, all bets are off. Because for the first time, I'm realizing that maybe the sweet, sassy boy next door is everything I never knew I needed.

This is the third book in a series, even though you don’t have to read the first two to understand it, I’d say you should read book 1, Reaching Reed, so you get more context about who these guys are and understand their jobs. Also, you’ll get the background of the side characters and a wider picture of Damon’s personality.
The story is interesting and fun, filled with funny moments and hot scenes. The characters are great, I especially liked the way Tomas is portrayed. Usually, when a straight character realizes he is into another man his reaction goes along the same lines, including much denial and the character’s attempt to walk away and convince himself he is 100% straight and not crushing on another man. Tomas’ bi-awakening is slightly different and that was fun to read.
I was hoping for a different kind of HEA, because I felt that from the characters of all three books (Carter, Bennet, Jasper, and Damon), Damon was the one who could have a plot twist to showcase a different kind of finale.
These authors really know how to write great characters and stories. I loved the way Damon was unapologetically himself. Not everyone is comfortable with themselves the way he is, and I loved him for that. Tomas was a great guy. I loved all their interactions. The dogs were a nice touch. There was plenty of humor. It kept a smile on my face. Also, Tomas' friends were great. I'm hoping at least Trenton gets a book. His crush on Damon was so cute, lol. Can't wait for the next book!
???? BOOK REVIEW ????
Discovering Damon by Cora Rose & Nicole Dykes
???? F150 - Dallas Dixon
We’re back for the 3rd installment of the camboys from Cora and Nicole, and Damon was all the amazingness I thought he would be. Damon is unapologetically Damon, and I absolutely love the diva that he is. While he may be a diva, he will be there to help anyone in his circle when needed. Which is how he finds himself house/dog sitting for his boss’ moms. This bringing him to live next door to the attractive straight mechanic.
From the beginning, you can see this connection between them. A safety of sorts that buds from friendship to lovers. Tomas and Damon are absolutely perfect together. This book does well with portraying a bisexual awakening and the acceptance all over. Tomas struggled for all of a second and let his body and desires lead him straight to Damon
Sparks fly and these two are unstoppable, until Damon’s job choice may cause problems. When a relationship has only one person as a camboy, despite cameo appearances, Tomas is not. Jealously is a bitch, but ultimately leaves them “fighting” for less than twelve hours, so no true third act breakup.
Overall I recommend! I loved the cohesiveness and acceptance overall. I mean, Tomas’ dad was a hoot. This can be read alone, but to get a better picture overall, reading books one and two may give a better picture of Damon.

Tomas is the hard working blue collar mechanic! He’s a good guy, works hard and is loved by is family and friends! It’s gets thrown for a loop when Damon come calling for help!
Damon is a guy who knows what he wants and is unapologetic of who he is! He’s happy with his life! He loves his job and his friends. He can’t really ask for more. Until Tomas!
This book makes me laugh and makes me happy! I really can’t wait till the rest of the books in the series come out!
