About this item

The New York Times bestselling author and entrepreneur investigates what would happen if a new financial world order took hold, one in which global elites own everything and you own nothing—and yet you are somehow happy.

When Carol Roth first heard that one of the World Economic Forum’s predictions for 2030 was “You will own nothing, and be happy,” she thought it was an outlandish fantasy. Then, she researched it. What she found was that a number of businesses, governments, and global elites share a vision of a future that sounds utopian: Everyone will have everything they need, and no one will own anything.

From declines in home and vehicle ownership to global inflation and government spending, many of the trends of modern life reveal that a new world that is emerging—one in which Western citizens, by choice or by circumstance, increasingly do not own possessions or accumulate wealth. It’s the perfect economic environment for the rich and powerful to solidify their positions and prevent anyone else from getting ahead.

In You Will Own Nothing¸ Roth reveals how the agendas of Wall Street, world governments, international organizations, socialist activists, and multinational corporations like Blackrock all work together to reduce the power of the dollar and prevent millions of Americans from taking control of their wealth. She shows why owning fewer assets makes you poorer and less free. This book is an essential guide to protecting your hard-earned wealth for the coming generations.

4.0 out of 5 stars Financial perspective worth reading!

A little slow moving at times because some topics simply require explanation beyond a few paragraphs.

Still explanations make the content more easily understood. I fear this will be overlooked because of the literary bent toward government solutions.

We are better off being alerted to heretofore unheard government folly. Read, be informed, vote!

You will learn a lot about what is happening with monetary policy and what is being done to manipulate it all in plain language for the non-economists. Well worth the read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quoted at the G7 summit

This is exactly what the leaders at the G7 summit have said. Clearly stated. Flying there private jets around the world. This is how the Communist Party sells there story. History is clear on this also. Those who fail to learn from the past are doomed to repeat it! Socialism is Communism's little brother. Saul Alinsky (Commie) ran for President in the 40's - twice. After losing, he is quoted for saying "I no longer need to run for President of the US. The Demicratic party will make my vision true". One of Saul Alinsky students was Hilary Clinton.

5.0 out of 5 stars You will own nothing
Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2024
This book You will own nothing. Is the total agenda of the WEF, WHO, INH, UN all of them, want to own all the land, water, food, cars, houses everything will belong to Them!! You will get talked into believing it is for the good of the planet! Nope, it is for the good of those in charge of all the world like the WEF, WHO etc, It is all about control. They will control what we eat, how much we eat, where we live, how long we live, if we have a car, house, clothes, even kids! All is controlled right now. The more boosters they give out the more people will die so the rich will have more supplies for themselves. It is all about control not about the climate which the government has been controlling since the 1950, Chem trails are real and are toxic. If you kill of the people and the animals and plants who do those left go to, to get food ? The WEF, WHO , The UN!! The immediate agenda is to take every decision away from every human being and take all the water, food, resources for the elite.
