5.0 out of 5 stars So much about her I did not know!

I'm 55. I used to watch Kathie and Regis decades ago. I don't watch mainstream media so sadly I didn't realize she was on TV the past few decades. I was raising children, getting a masters degree in counseling, and very involved with my church. I really didn't have time for pop culture. Mostly I watched FOX news. That's where I saw Kathie talking about her new book. It sounded great so I ordered it.

Man, I feel like I missed out! I might have enjoyed seeing her on a show with Hoda (is that the Today Show?), watching all her music videos and movies, listening to her songs.

I didn't know about her past, and I didn't know about her life up to the present. All I knew about her was the time with Regis.

From this book I learned there was much much more than Regis and Kathie Lee.

I rented the movie called Then Came You. It was cute. So from that I learned she was an actress. I think the co-star was someone that she said she liked very much . . . a comedian.

I've been to Israel twice, once when the Columbine High school tragedy happened near my home, and once two years later. On the 2nd trip to Israel I listened to Nicole Mullen's music non-stop, but then I sort of lost track of her too.

What fun to see that video about the God who Sees you in the music video Nicole and Kathie made together. I keep dreaming about it and the song is stuck in my head. I've shared it with all my friends. From that video I learned Kathie is musical, and she is a producer!

A weird thing happened. Just before Christmas I was researching wineries near Greenfield, CA because my husband's brother is living in an RV doing traveling Physician's Assistant work there, mostly treating people with Covid. His wife is with him.

I was trying to find a neat Christmas gift they could enjoy and I discovered Scheid Winery. A day or two later I read about Kathie's GIFFT wine, in this book, and that it came from that winery. That really freaked me out.

I placed an order for the wine and was pleasantly surprised there was no shipping fee! The wine is great!

In summary, I'm passing along the book to a friend, and I've told many people about it on my Facebook page. I'm feeling a mixture of happiness and sadness that I missed out on much of her talents these past few decades!

Most of the book was great. Two chapters left me a little confused. I couldn't figure out who or what the Weirdos were and if they did any projects together.

Also, the chapter about the Kardashians left me bewildered. I don't know anything about them. I don't know who Kris is or Kim are. I had a difficult time telling who the mom and dad were, and who the kids were. It seemed like that chapter assumed everyone knows who they are.

Kathie's talents and faith are an inspiration. I appreciate her candor in this book. She makes every day seem like an adventure. It inspired me in my own life.

I always enjoy Kathie Lee’s books. Reading each one is like visiting with an old friend who is sharing the most intimate, most important, most personal moments of her life. Reaching the end of her books is bittersweet. She always leaves you wanting to know more.

Delivery was extremely fast and my book arrived in pristine condition.

Everything about this order was perfect.

5.0 out of 5 stars A lovely book that renewed my faith in God's creation

Kathie Lee opened my eyes to the people around her and me. Her way of "writing as if talking right to me" was so easy to read. I loved her humor laced with emotions as she spoke of how God has directed her path through her career. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about her life. I had a preconceived notions she was a drunken fool from a couple of times I saw her on God's and Kathie Lee, but she wasn't and isn't one. She is a wonderful woman of God who let's him lead her to her next adventure. I was truly blessed by her words. Because knowing God is just like knowing a friend. Someone who will lead you on the path he has planned for you. Helping you through the dark forests and into the beautiful clearing. Someone asked her, " How can you be a Christian and work in Hollywood? " Her profound answer was, "How could I not be a Christian and work in Hollywood!". Being a Christian doesn't mean separating oneself from the world, it means living in the world and shining Jesus' light in those dark forests so others can see him and his love for them . He was the Son of God but he didn't let that go to his head. He loved everyone he came in contact with. Just the same way Kathie Lee has done. Thank you Kathie for shining your light through your words, music, and movies!

I really enjoyed this. In fact, I have listened to it often. Reorganizing rooms came across it and I look forward to listening to it again during the Christmas holidays hustle and bustle. She has great insights. Very personable and real.

This book actually changed my life! I share that with whoever will listen lol. I had the book on my shelf in a stack of books to read. I thought from the title that it was just about hey no matter what age you can still do so much. I decided to move it to the top of my stack after watching her on a commercial. Well it was that and so very much more. What an inspirational life Kathie Lee has led! The way she handled any situation thrown at her with such grace, faith, and humor made me want to be a better person. I was suffering from insomnia after my Mom passed and I would read this book at night and could feel better sleep coming on. I treasure this book. When anyone wants to borrow it, I buy them one instead because mine stays with ME!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Satisfying Smorgasbord of Memories

Kathie Lee's book, "It's Never Too Late..." is one of the most charming, inspirational books I've ever read. It's faith-based without being preachy. It's poignant without being morose. When she mentioned a song she'd written, I'd hop on over to YouTube to take a listen. More often than not, I would need to dry my eyes before returning to the book. And if you like dish, she dishes; tastefully of course, but dang! Juicy. I really love this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars A true fan, and believer now

At first, years ago, I just thought "Kathie" was a typical showman, that "God" was something only used for attention. ( although what ever works to spread the word right) After reading this book, I absolutely adore Kathie Lee. Kathie Lee IS the real deal. I was so touched, I actually felt God saying to me, Jennifer, listen, I AM real, I AM here for you. Have been, Always will be. Kathie, I know I'll never "hear" from you. But thank you for renewing my faith in Jesus Christ. I have given myself back to him because of what you inspire for all of us.
Everyone needs to read your book. Thank you from my heart.
