Maybe it wasn't my best idea to draw dark magic into myself to save a friend but it's definitely not my worst (don't ask Havoc what that was).

The first thing on our list of Save Miles from the Dark Magic That Might Be Making Him Do Ridiculous Things is to destroy the ominous book that's snagging my attention. But what I don't expect is to be dragged into the book filled with dark mysteries that leaves me with more questions and a lack of pants. But it's nothing that Havoc and I can't handle.

The two of us have proven that our relationship is strong enough that we can face anything life throws at us, so I think we can handle a measly book maybe I mean, so far it may look like were not winning, but that's just because it'd be boring if heroes won immediately. And it's not like we have to fight this battle alone, especially with an awe-inspiring dragon familiar who is forced to face his greatest adversary (a common housecat), a narcissistic angel who comes with a sword that compliments every cut made, a centaur who always manages to look like he's on the set of a cologne commercial, and Etienne (whatever he is).

With the demon I love by my side and my found family, we're going to stop this darkness before it spreads. But doing so might unveil some things we never expected.

    Enchanting Exposition is an excellent continuation of the Demon Magic series.
    This is such a good read. It kept my attention from start to finish. When I wasn’t laughing my head off, I was on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. It always amazes me that these storylines are so well executed when interspersed with the craziness that this author does so well. I was right there with the characters as they figured out what to do, how to do it, and what the outcome could be. While they did that, I was laughing out loud at the off-the-wall comments and conversations they were having. And Miles? Miles’ part had me rolling. I think this is the best in the series to date.
    This is some good stuff.
    I look forward to more from this author.

    This had me laughing quite a bit when Miles would succumb to the dark magic and become Emperor Miles and demand things from his "subjects". Everyone in his group found it hilarious as well, recording him on their phones to later replay it to him.

    And um, don't leave Menace alone with a friends cat.... the poor cat might not look like it did when it arrived....

    There is seriousness as well as Miles fights the dark magic within him and tries to destroy the book that is influencing him. The reality of what that book actually is and where it came from is certainly interesting.

    But, thankfully, everything works out in the end. I hope there are more books in this serious. I can't get enough of the characters antics!

    I love this bunch of weird and hilarious characters. Miles, Havoc and Menace are back at it again and dragging their found family along for the chaotic, unpredictable and magical shenanigans. This is a wonderful story with plenty of action, suspense and soo many lol moments. This is a great continuation from the last book but with new issues, demons and dark magic to deal with. I enjoyed reading this story.

    Hats off to Alice Winters. I swear I absolutely love this series and it just keeps getting funnier and more amazing. Miles is a phenomenal character who you can’t help but love. Havoc is just a chaotic, love able sass-hole and then the whole crew is just crazy and wonderful. Plus who doesn’t love a mages familiar who is a bratty cat-dragon? I just couldn’t put this 4th installment down, not knowing what was to come and then the hilarious parts that had me laughing out loud and chuckling just remembering the hijinks. 10 out of 10 highly recommended!

    Wildly entertaining! This book was a whole lot of fun!! Havoc and Miles and their friends get into all sorts of trouble and course have weirdly fun adventures along the way.

    I loved it of course! It was so much fun and also sweet! I can’t wait for more adventures from the oddball gang!

    Some great tropes to look forward to here are: found family, loyal friends, established couples, wildly inappropriate comments, lots of teasing, fun, and banter, sweet moments, a talking swords… and so much more that you’re just going to have to read to find out!

    I really enjoyed the humor in this series. I like humor made from the things we are experiencing. More Will and Grace than The Waterboy. This was funny, sad, mysterious, and full of action. A great addition to the series

    I seriously adore Alice's sass. Seriously! The Emperor Miles moments had me laughing. And of course then Winter had me crying. Another lovely book with a omw of my fav characters! Hoping one of these days Marco and Lachlan finally get together. Lol

    Miles and Havoc are back and stronger and wackier than ever! Old friends join them for more adventure and laughs on their latest quest to rid Miles of the new, dark magic inside of him. It’s fun, has brilliant found family vibes, and is just an all-round, feel-good world. An enjoyable series that I would definitely recommend as a light-hearted and easy read.
