About this item
Every action has consequences.
I made one foolish mistake and ended up with a debt I had only one way to pay...by bowing my head and submitting to the men I swore I hated. But in their dominance, I found catharsis. In the darkness we share, parts of myself were brought to the light.
I've been wearing a mask for far too long.
Now I'm torn between the future I thought I wanted and a life I once believed was only fantasy.
These feelings between us were never just a game.
What am I willing to sacrifice? My pride and carefully laid plans, my determination that I can do it all alone? Or my new-found freedom to live without boundaries with the men who turned my world on its head? How much am I willing to give up?
Who am I willing to lose?
Losers: Part 2 is book two in the Losers duet. Although not required, it is recommended to listen to the novella The Dare before listening to Losers.
Contains mature content.

5.0 out of 5 stars Losers: Part II
My mind has been blown, my brain chemistry has been altered. I’ve… I have no words.
Even if I tried I could not describe my emotional process of immersing myself into this book. Words to do it justice hasn’t been invented yet.
Everything in this series is full out. The spice, the love, the care, the emotion.
So much was put into this book, yet nothing lacked.
There was so much spice, yet so much emotion and a actual plot. not one hindered the other. This book is so close to perfection.
Honestly I feel like I fell in love with the main characters the same way as Jess did. Slowly, confusingly, then completely all at once.
This story consumed me. Connected with me, Changed me. I won’t ever be the same.
People told me I’d fall in love with this series — and I believed them. I honestly believe that’s why I put it off for so long.
This series has to forever live in the hall of fame of very few books that make it to my Roman Empire. I don’t think this book will ever leave my minds eye.
4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting and loveable characters
What I really liked was how the characters evolved. I did not much care for Jess at all in the beginning of book one. She was growing on me by the end but had a ways to go. I liked the loyalty and support the guys had but individually I still had a few doubts. However in book 2, Jess has learned how to read each of her men and was able to give them what they needed, even when they did not know they needed it. She matured so much and I could finally see what the guys found so attractive in her. The two characters that changed the most were Jess and Lucas, who went from not believing he deserved love, grumpy all the time, to finally relishing the love all around him.
All in all a satisfying read. (I should also mention you will find more kinds of kink in this book than most, including a few that for me were turnoffs.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Scorchingly Hot, Carefully Crafted
Spice level ????️????️????️????️????️! Amazingly well-written, thoughtful, and sinfully sexy scenes ????. I was so pleased with integration of internal and external conflicts into the plot and with the final resolution of the story. I found myself deeply relating to personal struggles of several characters.
Laroux weaves informative tidbits on responsible and respectful BDSM practice in so seamlessly, a rarely seen but essential component in this genre. Will continue to devour everything they publish! ????????

The individual growth, emotionally and mentally, from Jessica, Manson, Jason, Lucas, and Vincent made them stronger together. There is a special bond between them that no one could take away. The love, affection, care, support, and trust felt natural. Being able to have five main characters and make them completely unique was incredibly executed. The undertones and depictions brought everything to life and I felt enraptured in their world.
“A sad person knows what another sad person looks like,” I said. I dared to reach out, brushing my fingers along her cheek to tuck a stray lock of blonde hair behind her ear. Goosebumps prickled over her arms, and my eyes widened. “I hear it in your voice. I see it in your eyes. I feel it when I look at you. You deserve to be happy, but you’ll never find it with the people you’re choosing.”
“Where the h ell was there room for the soft boys of the world? Where was there safety for gentleness? Why did we all need to become warriors, to be soldiers, when we were still barely more than kids.”
“Jason and I used to watch the stars out this window,” Vincent said, as I traced my finger over the heart. “It always made our problems feel smaller, somehow. Like in all that vastness of space, we’re just tiny motes of dust with tiny problems.”
“The right person will change you for the better,” he said. “Sometimes, it’s a temporary change — someone comes into your life for a time and tweaks things a bit before they move on. But sometimes, it’s permanent. Things in your life shift around just right and they fit in like the spot’s been waiting for ‘em.”
“It had taken me a long time to realize that “home,” to most people, represented a place of comfort and safety. Home was a place people wanted to return to, not one they dreaded or feared. I’d had to build my own home, my own family. I’d crafted it in the only way I knew how; it was messy and strange, but it was mine and no one could take it away from me.”
“Maybe some wounds never healed. They needed to be tended forever, treated gently. It was hard to accept that when it felt like admitting defeat. But shyt, even a victor in battle could come away from it wounded.”
