    I consider myself somewhat financially savvy. I’m certainly not Warren Buffett- but I never carry a balance on my credit cards, I contribute to my 401k, and I have a brokerage account. I wasn’t sure how much actual actionable advice there would be in this book, but I truly felt like I was learning something new every chapter.

    All of the advice in here is written out in a way to not only educate, but motivate you to act on it. I was really impressed not only at how great the explanations for seemingly complicated concepts were, but also how step-by-step and clear it is to actually start DOING the thing. I really appreciated all the breakdowns regarding how to invest and how to prioritize your investing. I didn’t know anything about HSA’s, and they always seemed like kind of a niche, unnecessary thing (as a healthy 30 year old, a health savings account just doesn’t seem like something that would set me up for success), BUT! Now I know better thanks too Vivian!

    I highly recommend this book, no matter your financial situation or age. There’s a ton of fantastic advice and resources, and its written in a very fun and empathetic way. I plan on telling all my friends and mom about it!

    Easy read helping you take control of your finances! Absolutely love it. She provides free resources! (While others are charging over $3500-$5000 for the same education and resources.) I'm so so happy Vivian put this together. It's a game changer for us younger generations who were never taught how a credit card works in school much less how to invest.     Personally, it starts off a little dry for me but that’s because I’m a teacher and I don’t really get to negotiate my salary/benefits. But, everything else I think she does a great job breaking down the chapter’s concepts and provides good analogies. I also like that her book is interactive with additional online resources. I think this a good read for those that are trying to break the cycle or want to be more financially literate.

    Vivian is a great writer, the tone of the book is very much like some (financially savvy) bff giving you advice. She breaks down complex concepts into funny analogies and makes it all digestible for anyone. I bookmarked multiple portions to go back to later. There’s also a QR code to join her richAF club for practical things like excel sheets and other resources.

    Super helpful for breaking down all things: 401k, Roth IRAs, HYSA, Healthcare and the even the dreaded TAXES. She never dictates which exact stocks you should invest in, but provides tons of resources so that you fundamentally understand the financial systems at play. I feel empowered after reading her book and know I’ll keep going back to earmarked passages!
