This is one of the best books I've ever read. Its like it was written perfectly to suit me. The characters are so in depth and their love story is just chefs kiss! This feels like an authentic love story. Like I really believed in their feelings and their story. It was perfection. Plus as you can see my cat loves it as well, lol.

I had no idea how heartbreaking Moth's story would be... and Charlie was a perfect match for Moth. To be completely honest, I didn't even bother to read the blurb for this book… Once I had discovered it had been released, I immediately downloaded it. I had no idea that I was about to set out on an emotional journey.
This book is full of strong emotional themes, steam, plot twists, and all of our favorite characters. We are reconnected with Edin, Wyn, Gloam, Aury, and their humans. But it is Moth and Charlie who are about to embark on an adventure in search of Cat... What they find on their journey is so much more.
I wasn’t prepared for the devastating sorrow I would feel for Moth. My heart broke for him, I wanted to hug him, wrap him in a warm embrace of love and acceptance…and I wanted to rage against almost everyone…. Everyone but Charlie. Charlie was so full of acceptance, grace, and understanding that I couldn’t have wished for him to be any different. These two together… exactly what I needed!
I do not want to spoil the experience for anyone…so I am intentionally keeping this review vague.
I adored the characters, the story gave me ALL THE FEELS, and the plot twists and turns kept me turning the pages. This is a slow burn, but once it catches fire... it gets steamy.
Moth was a fantastic book and is a must read monster romance in my opinion! I can’t wait to see what happens next!

After reading the previous book, I was afraid that the series was becoming stale. I didn't enjoy it as much as the previous books and decided to read this one just to see. I'm so glad I did.
Charlie and Moth are an amazing story. Watching them reach their HEA was so endearing. Misunderstandings aren't usually my thing, but these were such strong characters that I was totally invested. There was a good balance of action, and the spice was really good, but there was a story to carry it. I can't wait to start the next one .

Best series I've read in SO long

I don’t know what I’m going to do when this series ends. I’m dreading reading the next one because it just came out and who knows how long it’ll be until another will be released — that’s how much I love this world and these characters.
Moth had the absolute worst childhood/teen-hood/early 20s, he got the worst possible parental situation and the dude is just treated like dirt by EVERYONE because he’s half-monster, half-human*. I have to admit in the earlier books I didn’t like Moth either; I don’t like the cocky, snarky, "I don’t need anyone and you’re all beneath me" attitude he was putting up to cover all his hurt. Of course, being the enormous flippin' sap that I am, as soon as I knew the hurts existed I quickly changed my tune. And as Moth changed his, I realized I adored that fragile, broken little bugaboo even more than Gloam (and he made my heart ache I adored him so). I think my ranking system is useless now tbh because I like each book more than the last.
Charlie was a sweet baby angel sunshine southern boy that I was not expecting to be so freakin emotionally intelligent or so compassionate based on his parts in Edin. And the fact that he was a hardcore consent king AND pansexual? Sold. I loved him. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect mate for Moth and I was on tenterhooks when things came down to the conversation on the wall. But Lily Mayne delivered — with a hallmark-worthy public declaration of love no less!!
The steamy scenes in this one were so damn good; I had worried five books in that the steamy scenes might become repetitive but I haven’t felt like that even a tiny bit yet. I love the unique anatomy, I love that Charlie was so adamant about showing Moth how uniquely beautiful he was, and I love that even though it was a fairly slow build up to their relationship that you could feel the fireworks and heat coming off the pages. There’s never a lull in the story either, the $mut is excellent but it’s also so expertly weaved into everything else.
Speaking of the plot — some people might find it a little anticlimactic but honestly, I was glad it went the direction it did. Yes there are loose ends obviously but it tied up some rather pressing ones too, hopefully ???? I don’t entirely trust that what happened is actually the end given what Edin & Wyn can do lol. ANYWAY… I am looking forward to the loose ends being tied up -eventually- but I wasn’t upset with how things went down. I think it really added to Moth & Charlie’s story ????♀️it’s nearly 3AM and I’m rambling… ????
*a side note on the half-human half-monster thing — I am SO annoyed with the camp, especially with Rig/Gloam, Ghost/Aury, they all kept him at arms length for so long and for what?! Yes, Moth had a big secret, but so does literally everyone else at the camp!!! They all need to treat him better ???? Thankfully I think Charlie will make them ????
