This book actually makes economic sense. None of the modern day Keysenian econ books with complicated equations make sense. I read this to get all of that nonsense out of my head from my Economics degree earned in 2011. Economics is an understanding of how a civilized society functions properly.

This is my favorite of Saif’s books. He makes economics easy to understand with the quality of his writing and how he breaks down complex topics with logic.

People perceive economics as an abstract science involving equations, models and graphs relevant to economists only.
This book will show you that economics is in fact based on reasoning and common sense. Relevant to all humans in their interactions with each other and even themselves.
Clear, real life examples will illustrate how so many of the marvels of modern civilization are the product of rational economic thought.
Will make you better understand so many phenomena we take for granted.
Highly recommended to everyone, regardless of economics background.

If all of the government sponsored Keynesian economics classes were replaced by the monumental concepts simply explained in this book- the world would change for the better.

I already know a little about the importance of Bitcoin (which is only casually mentioned in this book). But a few of the most interesting discussions to me were how defense and law do not have to be monopolized by a corrupt government in the same way that money has been completely corrupted.

Many other simple concepts are well explained and eye opening.

I've been following free market economics for a long time, but this book is hands down the clearest, most comprehensive treatment of the subject I've ever read. I want to highlight half the sentences in the book. Outstanding.

The book and author are excellent, obviously! But Amazon is damaging the copies and sending them that way. I purchased this with the intention of gifting it. However the book appears dirty and used. Not gifting quality. I feel like someone returned this and they sold it as new again. So buyer beware of quality
