5.0 out of 5 stars I need more Brandon & Nikolai! This book is not enough ????????

That was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Utterly captivating! Hands down one of Rina’s greatest work. I can’t count how many times my chest hurt for Brandon & Nikolai. The way the story was written was amazing and I found myself fully invested and immersed in their love story. I can’t believe their story is over just like that. I vote for another book about them—this time with them just living happily together, cause you bet that you I want to see both of them happy after everything they went through ♥️

The way Rina delved into the topics of this book (make sure to check the TW just in case it’s not for you) was absolutely brilliant. The details she went with creating Brandon’s personality was incredible. It was so amazing that every time Brandon spiralled down and had “those” thoughts, I teared up and might have used a lot of tissue supply. Absolutely in love with Brandon. Nikolai & him has got to be the most well-written character in the Rina Kent Universe, and I will hold onto this ship till my last breath cause you bet that I have officially joined “Protect Niko & Bran” Club. Those 2 deserve everything and more for all the suffering they went through ????

Nikolai was an absolute menace. In a refreshing and lovable way. I can’t count how many times I burst out laughing at his inner dialogue or when he becomes a little “lost” in his “delusions” ???? The man was persistent, but was still respectful in a way. Love LOVE that about him. Love his character and personality. I love everything about him. Love that he became understood Bran and went out of his way to support him and give him what he needs. Love that he was attentive and caring. Love that he gave Bran the push he needed, and absolutely in love with how he avenge his lotus flower. I just…I love him ???? He’s absolutely an amazing character ♥️

This is hands down gonna be one of my top read this year. The way this story was written was so amazingly tragic but hot as well. Rina did wonderful with this book. A MUST READ for me cause I’m certainly gonna re-read this again in the future. I can’t say this enough cause I’m utterly blown away by how in love I am with this book. This is her first M/M but she did amazing with it ♥️ Kudos to Rina ♥️????

This book was everything! My God I never saw any of it coming! I mean from finally being able to see who Nikolai and Brandon are from their own point of view to how their story unfolds to the last page of the book.

This was my first male on male book and it did NOT disappoint!!! Not having a clue just how far I would fall into Niko and Bran. I love them so so much. Hands down my favorite of all the Rina Kent couples I've read so far. She is an incredible author with so much talent for writing such raw, emotional story lines surrounded by all the delicious bits of humor, sex, and danger that we all love so much!

This next part might be a slight spoiler so don't read further if you want to go in completely blind but I just HAVE to say this.

I have read plenty of books that left me heart broken and shattered over characters but there is just something about two masculine men being so deeply vulnerable and emotional that just hits different. I am truly in awe.

NXB will hold a place in my heart for sure. Fantastic read! Highly recommend and will absolutely be reading God of Fury again! I already purchased the audiobook as I'm told that is an even better experience.

Rina Kent, I can't thank you enough for giving us Nikolai Sokolov and Brandon King. What a ride.

I read this having never read this author before or any previous books in this series/universe. I believe this technically works fine as a standalone. However there are lots of moments glossed over, which I assume is to not rehash scenes that are shown in other books. It does mean some personal growth feels missed for a newbie like me. Still, this writing is addictive and easy to read. I did enjoy the crazy ride, even as it was probably a bit too dramatic for my liking. These are two deeply flawed and damaged people. While their love and obsession for each other was fun to read, it was also super problematic and they needed serious help. I'll probably never reread this again, but if you're after something OTT, hot, and full of angst and violence, then give this a try. And definitely read the trigger warnings. There is some seriously messed up situations in this book. It left me feeling heavy and sad.
