5.0 out of 5 stars Best Book in the House

I read this during the week of Father’s Day and couldn’t put it down. It made me reflect on my father, my children and our grandchildren. Even if you never held a golf club, there are important life lessons we all can benefit by revisiting them. This book challenges the adage that “well done is better than well said.”

I grew up with Jack as a hero. The book is about Jack and what he did as a father. I enjoyed the book but it is not something you read and say "wow" but it does hold your interest.

It is easy to say this is one of the best books I have ever read! Authenticity, sincerity, legacy, faith, family, integrity and a slue of other great themes checker and resound throughout this well thought out and skillfully written book. What stands out the most is that the Nicklaus name is all about excellent character. Thank you Jack Nicklaus ll for another major, albatross and Hole in One!

Jack, as on the course, was great off the course. Hard for us normal Joe's to live up to his standards though. Read it for enjoyment. Don't measure yourself against him or you will fall short, just like on the course.
