About this item

The eleventh installment in the bestselling series about a former contract assassin navigating the apocalypse with humor, charm, and explosive violence.

Deep in the mountains of West Virginia, Conor and his team are sheltering at the Banks Compound, desperate for some way to regain the momentum that billionaire Walter Lightspeed brought to the country. They’d been so close to recovery and now salvation slipped further away with each passing moment.

Desperate for a ray of hope amidst their grim reality, the team launches a mission to find someone who might be able to bring new energy to the national recovery effort. Someone America knows and respects. Someone who clawed their way up from poverty to build an empire. Someone plainspoken and unquestionably patriotic.

Yet even as the team attempts to kindle the flames of hope, forces beyond their control conspire against them and set in motion an event that will forever change this tight group of friends, family, and colleagues.

Another Horton thriller keeping me enthralled and skipping work to keep reading. He is a very creative thinker and writer, memorable characters, believable scenarios. You can't go wrong with a Horton book.

Absolutely amazing series, loved every minute of it and hope there’s more parts to come. Loved the characters, story line, everything. Loved it enough I bought them all instead of borrowing. Truly hope more books follow into this series.

Being a huge fan, I have high expectations for each sequel of the Mad Mick series. This was fabulous!!! Fast paced, intense action; good parts, bad parts, sad parts. I am never disappointed when I pick up the next book in the series. Can't wait to read the prequel!! Thank you, Franklin Horton!!!

This seems to be the last book in the Mad Mick series. It wasn’t as violent as the other books, and this time the Mad Mick loses.

I enjoy the Mad Mick series and hope for more. There were a few typos and the ending wasn't there or wasn't able to download-usually there are author notes etc and it just ended with Mick scrolling through texts.
Either way, the characters are fun and the story line is interesting and makes for a good read.

Best book ever! Loved all the action too (kept my adrenaline flowing) but sad too. We lost characters in this one. Cant wait for book 12. Don’t ever stop this series please! You are a great writer and I am a huge fan. Thank you for bringing joy to my nightly reading even though I’m
    Up late.

I don't review individual books, I review the series.

    Whew! what a ride.
I wondered during the last few books just how this could be ended. Not that I wanted it to end, far from it, this was a truly magnificent read! It seemed the characters were too tight a group to go different ways, but too badass to be killed.
Well, just finished the last entry in the roller-coaster series, and it was a fitting ending.
The Mad Mick has taken a place next to Angery American's "Home" series as I consider both "Standards of the Industry" regarding post-apoc novels. I can give it no higher praise.
    - Thanks for a helluva run together, Conor and I.....
