When I read Dan's book Amplified Leadership it had a profound impact on me, so I anticipated Dan's newest book Confident Leader and couldn't put it down once I started it. I devoured it, and it fed my soul deeply. Dan's insights on leadership are not only practical, but focused on Christ, which is what draws me to his writings and to Dan's leadership.
Chapter 15 "Heart," was especially meaningful to me and full of wisdom on how to care for people. His Five Practical Principals to Strengthen Your Relationships are leadership gold. Value Simplicity and Intimacy, Listening from the Heart Immediately Deepens Relationship, Admit When You're Wrong and Say I'm Sorry, Add Value to Others, and Laughter is the Best Medicine. Those five simple reminders are so foundational to leadership. They reminded me that ultimately each one of us is in the people business. Having enjoyed leading in corporate settings, and now within the church, focusing on people and applying these five principals are great reminders to lead with the heart.
Dan is an amazing leader and speaks from a lifetime of humble leadership, which has made him the respected and Confident Leader that he is today. If you haven't read Confident Leader yet pick it up and start reading it today, it will strengthen you as a person and as a leader. I couldn't recommend this book more highly. Great job Dan!

Dan Reiland hits another “Grand Slam” with his latest book “Confident Leader”!!! Anthony Martinez & Company loved the impact this made in our teams!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND any leader in any ministry or industry reading this high impact book that is filled with Dan’s 39 years of leadership experience!!
As leaders we ALL long and search for ways and methods to have and show authentic confidence! Dan’s book uniquely addresses the proven essentials to gain that confidence and provides practical steps to consistently develop it but also maintain a “Confident Leader”.
In this book you will get to know Dan’s heart, his passion and what drives his influence and success in building and establishing a “Confident Leader”!!
I loved chapter 6 on consistency “Lead yourself well before leading others” was especially impactful to me as Dan illustrated the following 3 characteristics of the “Confident Leader”: 1-Your Habits, 2-Your Emotions, 3-Your Words.....As Dan said “ self leadership is needed to maintain productive habits, positive emotions and uplifting words. The more consistently you live these out the more your confidence as a leader grows”.
Overall Dan’s book is outstanding and jam packed with life and leadership lessons that can be implemented now!! Amazing book that I will use as a guide in my leadership journey for years to come! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Confident Leader!!

Confident Leader is a much-needed topic for leaders at every level and at every stage of their careers. Too little confidence leads to insecurity and too much leads to arrogance, but in the middle is a confidence that God calls us to walk in. Pastor Dan Reiland does an incredible job of unpacking what a confident leader looks like. This book will also give you practical application steps that you can apply immediately to further your journey toward being a confident leader.
Dan writes, “Your character is at the core of your confidence. The stronger your character, the greater your confidence.” I’ve had the pleasure to see up close how Dan’s impeccable character has led to his humble confidence to lead in his God-given calling. Dan’s not a confident leader because of his success, he’s successful because of his leadership confidence, and that’s one of the many reasons why Dan Reiland one of the top Executive Pastors on the planet.
Buy this book for yourself, but after you read it, there’s no doubt you’ll want to buy it for your team.

A Roadmap to Increasing Your Confidence as a Leader

"The moment you step up to lead, you immediately become aware of your level of confidence.” -Dan Reiland
There have been multiple times in my leadership journey where I've stepped up to lead and found that statement from the book to be incredibly accurate. The problem is, too often, I have not liked what I became aware of.
The Confident Leader provided me with a roadmap for increasing my confidence as a leader. It made me realize that I am not the only leader that struggles with confidence and that if I will deliberately develop my character, and practice the daily disciplines, and make the foundational decisions that Dan outlines in the book, I will become a confident leader.
If you have ever struggled with confidence as a leader, purchase this book today. I know that for me, it will be the book that I return to often when I am struggling with my confidence.
Thank you, Dan, for writing this book and for all of the other incredible content you produce for leaders. We are better for it!

A practical must read guide for strengthening and building leaders!

Two concepts in this book resonate with me. First is the chapter on consistency. My career in the marketplace was 17 years spent with one employer; I have now served in ministry at the same church for 14 years. I have always believed consistency is a Kingdom principle, and I love how Mr. Reiland expanded on this thought. Breaking it into three sections (consistent habits, emotions, and words) gave me great handles to teach this principle to those I lead.
The second concept I loved is the idea of intentional discipleship through mentoring. The fast pace of our high demand lives keeps us in a state of quick chaos. I often have good intentions, but this section reminded me that successful execution is based on focused intentionality.
I highly recommend this book to strengthen yourself as a leader and to build a strong leadership team of both your peers and subordinates.
