This cargo net is great. I used to keep most of my bed gear secure with ratcheting straps (tennis bags and hoppers, carts, bags of recycle, etc.) This cargo net is so much easier to set up (4 carabiners) and is very stretchy and securely accommodates more than I imagined. Whether I have a full bed or just a few things it securely holds everything.
I don't know how weather durable it is as I usually keep it in my cab when not in use, but it does seem well made. The carabiners don't seem overly durable and I can imagine them giving out eventually, but I haven't had any issues with them in the few months I've used it so far. It ships with replacements which is nice, otherwise just replace with your preferred durable carabiner.
I opted for the double layer but haven't used it in that capacity yet.
I strongly recommend this and would buy again.
