I just used this for about sixty fasteners around 68ft/lbs and it looks like it's good steel. Well formed and broached and I like the extended inside depth, which is becoming de riguer these days. The phosphate finish seems sound, a bit rough and grabby. Grease or oil it, heat it up a bit, and it will feel better and help the phosphate to weather a little better.
Good impact sockets that aren't tool-truck priced are harder to find these days. These are still made in Taiwan, which has always been the default standard source for decent impact sockets. Sunex apparently moved their whole line to China and after having a couple of those and an extension, the quality just isn't there anymore, sadly. Tekton is keeping it good and is usually cheaper than GP - both are great products that generally are reliable.
