    I have installed these on multiple vehicles for the sheer ease of use and as a way of hooking up a tube and draining right back into a bottle or container. Even better is I never have to worry about stripping a drain bolt or having to replace a seal. And, my mechanics love it, too!

    I have used these for years and it makes oil changes quicker and simpler. The amount of time it saves is priceless. I have yet to have one fail on me, but I do keep the original drain plug in the glove box after cleaned. Just make sure you get the correct size for your use, I have one on my Acura Integra and my Nissan 350z. I chose this one because I am familiar with this and can speak on the quality.

    Game changer whenn I discovered these oil pan drain valves existed! No more making a mess and having to fish the drain plug out of the catch basin.

    Sorry not sorry at all about this one boys and girls.
    I had a take 5 in my area put this on my chevy ss when it was there and pretty much have never had to go back bc its so EZ TO drain my own oil.
    I do my own oil changes at the 4500 mark everytime. I make sure no trunnions are in my oil pan and my oil has no metal in it. its all good bc i have the certainty of doing it all myself.
    Im slapping one of these on ALL of the cars I am forced to deal with from now on.
    When my gf's accord is fixed you bet your butt this thing will be on there.
    Also i havent had a leak period from the drain valve. it was installed oct 2023. one year almost no issues and you have a loyal customer.

    I bought this device to make changing the oil easier on my Chrysler 200. I tend to be a little heavy handed when I tighten bolts, and I'm afraid somewhere up the line I will strip my oil pan's drain plug threads. Install this device once and you don't have to remove it to drain the oil as long as you own the car. The device comes with no sealing washer between the head of the valve and the oil pan. There is a built in O ring for this purpose. I does not protrude very high. I'm a little concerned that it may leak. hope it does the job, I will see.

    I change my own oil and sometimes my friends. This neat little device prevents that dramatic moment when your drain plug comes out and hot dirty black oil pours out, with disturbing results if you're not properly set up to contain it. This unit fit my 2010 Mazda 6 WITH the suggested extension. The extension threads in first nicely, and you can easily tighten it with a socket. BUT ... attaching the valve to the extension is a bit trickier. A socket won't work, only an open end wrench or adjustable wrench will work. Unfortunately there are only 3 flats available on the valve for attaching a wrench instead of the desired 6. So it took quite a bit of maneuvering to get that thing tightened past hand-tight. The good news is once you're set you're done with it forever, and draining your oil is a simple matter of flipping the tiny valve handle 90 degrees. And the valve handle locks in place when you close it. You can even attach a hose to it to send it to your collection bucket. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

    Installed this when I updated the oil pan from plastic (thanks Ford) to a later model year metal one on my 2011 F250 Powerstroke. The o-ring is a bit smaller on this than the OEM plug and doesn’t quite match up to the sealing surface. I put some anaerobic thread sealant on just in case, the pan and plug were both clean so I figured there would never be a better time. It’s only been on there for about 500 miles and no leaks, obviously haven’t actually used the valve portion to change oil yet but that part is pretty straightforward. I actually got this as a “used” part, there was Teflon tape on the threads, someone had tried to seal it I guess, Teflon probably isn’t going to work on straight threads though!
