This product is perfect and has saved me more time than I can count! From cold winter mornings when my battery decided to give up, to late night situations where I would have otherwise been stranded, this jump starter has been a reliable companion. It's compact, easy to use, and packs enough power to get me back on the road in minutes. I also appreciate the added flashlight which has come in handy more than once during the hurricane season when I was without electricity. it's been worth every penny for the peace of mind alone!

I've used this product a total of three times. It works really quick; even if the battery is completely dead. It's easy to use and safe. Even my 14 year old son had no trouble with using it. Comes with small tote bag and extremely light; can be carried anywhere. Has flash light with "strobe mode" and it's very bright. Comes with USB charger and I recharge after each use and place back in bag. Doesn't take long to recharge either. I drive a Jeep Wrangler and was shocked at how well it works. Got a new battery for the Jeep, but now I feel safe knowing if I have a issue in the future; that this product actually works. No need to ask anyone for help; I can help myself. ???? 10/10

Very impressed with this product. Charging time was very short. It’s very easy to use. After charging it I tried it on my 20 year old,double battery Ram diesel that usually takes two other diesel trucks to jump start. . It worked IMMEDIATELY! It is small, lightweight compact and easy to store. I’m thinking about getting one for each of my 6 vehicles 2 Suburbans a F350 and 2 imports so none of us have to worry about getting a jump from a stranger or waiting for a AAA service. I also think the price is very reasonable. I’m going to try it on my farm tractor- also double battery diesel and even harder to jump than the trucks. I’ll update with the results. BTW this is my first Amazon review. Just thought it was warranted and would be helpful.

This has proven to be a reliable and consistently useful jump starter for gasoline 4 and 6 cylinder car engines. Note that the 1500 Amp current rating is a peak rating under ideal conditions and with boost feature enabled. Its listed jumpstart current is 300 amps, which is what one can consider its normal usage current. Fine for small and medium sized gasoline car engines, and can work for large engines under less taxing circumstances (weak but not dead battery, allowing it several seconds to charge up or with use of the boost feature if required).

That said, please be mindful that at the heart of this is a 10000 mAh battery. At full charge, expect it can jump start a dead battery about 3 times. Give yourself the best chance for success by topping off to full charge every 2-3 months, and topping back up after any use.

There's always a chance you'll receive a defective unit. Don't want to find out for the first time when you are trying to jumpstart with it. Do a couple of tests up front: 1. Drain it by charging other items with it with the USB and verify that the charging capacity seems consistent with a 10000 mAh battery. It should only barely warm up while doing this--if it's running hot, there's something wrong with it. 2. Charge it back up to capacity, then connect it to your car and make sure that the lights on the battery clamp module are operating (should be a steady green for a properly working car battery). If those check out, your device is unlikely to be defective, in which case I think you will have a very good experience with it, as I have so far.

I bought the AstroAI S8 Car Battery Jump Starter, 1500A Jump Starter October 2023 and haven't had a chance to use it until today. While going to shop at a store a man approached me and ask if I had jumper cables. I said no but then remembered I had this unit and offered to help him. Of course I couldn't remember how to use it but it was so simple. We had his Honda V6 minivan running in a couple of minutes.
Great product and much easier than jumper cables.
I plan to get another one now for our other car.

This little jump starter works great. I’ve needed to use it about 6 times so far, and it works well. You only get two starts out of a full charge. But that’s cool with me, I just plugged it up to recharge it. And it charges my iPhone up quick. So…it’s a cool battery bank also.
