    These are excellent replacement filters for my 2021 BMW i3. The old ones were the originals and had never been changed in 3 or so years, so they were pretty grotty. Quality of these replacement filters seems to be comparable to the OEM Densos.

    Installation is not that easy if you're even somewhat tall, because of how BMW set up access to the filters. There are a few installation videos on Youtube, which are accurate and easy to follow. The instructions that came with the filters were not specific to the BMW i3, so you're better off going to Youtube. Two tips you might find useful:

    1. I removed the little door covering the filter compartment. Not all videos suggest this, but I found that removing the door provided some extra room and helped with the removal of the old filters and insertion of the new ones. Incidentally, the new ones slid in without any difficulty - great fit! Remember to get the arrows lined up properly.

    2. For me, the hardest step in the installation process was trying to reattach the plastic panel at the back - I couldn't get the holes to line up. What I ended up doing is replacing the original torx screws with longer ones that I could initially turn by hand, so that I could then wiggle them around until the tips found the holes and were seated.

    Fits my 21 Forester just like OEM.
    I never thought about cabin filters much. Regular replacement does make a big difference. The car smells better and I don’t sneeze as much. The price cannot be beat. Easy to install, and this brand even came with directions that were clear and concise.

    Bought this as replacement for Subaru 2020 Forester. As claimed, this filter is thicker and more sturdy than the filter I replaced. The filter material seems of good quality and the fit was perfect. The instructions that came with the filter weren't too useful. YouTube videos provide clear instructions to install (a 5 min job). The color of the filter material is a bit of a problem - you won't be able to tell a dirty filter from a clean one. But overall, a good buy for the price.

    Tesla recommends replacing the cabin filter every two years. If you have pets or have high pollen, industrial fallout, road dust and other particles where you drive, then more often. If there is an odor when starting the AC it's probably time to change it. I have used the Spearhead Odor Defense Breathe Easy AC & Heater Cabin Filter every two years since I first bought my Model 3 in 2018. It works well and is well made.

    Installing it yourself can be a bit of a pain because of where Tesla puts the cabin filters and specifically the screw that holds the cabin filter cover on. However doing it yourself is fairly routine once you get the hang of it. It will also save you some $$. Look at a couple of YouTube videos on replacing the filters.

    I bought the AXELECT 5 Pack Trim Removal Tool Kit, No Scratch Plastic Pry Tool Kit,Auto Trim Tool Kit Car Tools,Car Panel Door Window Tools Kit,Fastener Removal Interior Trim Tools for $5 to more easily remove the panel under the glovebox and the right side panel from the center console. You will need a Torx T20 screwdriver to unscrew the cover screw which is positioned so you need to contort yourself to get to it.

    The instructions that come with the filters are clear and the filters have the air flow direction well labeled.

    Before installing your new filters consider applying some Evaporator and Heater Foam Cleaner to the filter chamber - it will give your car a very nice clean smell. Again - watch a YouTube Video to see how it's done.

    This replaces the original cabin filter perfectly. And is considerably cheaper than the original GM part. Takes about 10 minutes to install. It has been in the car for 3 weeks and seems to be working fine. I will reorder soon.

    Nissan makes it a real pain to change these filters. You have to remove the glove box (unless you have extremely tiny hands and xray vision.) The old one can be tough to get out, and it's not easy to get the new one back in. Unlike the OEM filter, this is much more durable. Hefty, I would say. It's also infused with carbon. The OEM is just a plain, paper filter, and it's easy to rip it while trying to stuff it back in the slot. Hoping this filter will last a little longer than the OEM, because changing it means kneeling just outside the car and contorting your body in various uncomfortable ways. Excellent filter, fits right once you manage to get it in. If you need to change your cabin filter, go with this one.

    I ordered the filter as my mechanic said should be changed with the next oil change. I am so glad that I proceeded and ordered it as I have a muggy smell in my car and didn't want to wait any longer. I installed the new filter myself before going to work and immediately felt the difference in the air quality inside my car. The muggy smell is gone and it was so easy to install ( it even came with the installation instructions) , from now on I will do it myself saving money at the same time. This filter I highly recommended for its quality, fast delivery and instructions for easy installation.
