    EDIT: Year two of using these and I’m still in love with them. I have 3 different ones now. They’ve held up so well to many ski trips and they keep my sensitive ears warm and protected. I just wash them on cold and hang dry them to ensure they stay in good shape.
    First time using a blackstrap balaclava and I absolutely love it. The material feels so high quality and nice. It fits really nicely on my head (I wear a size large ski helmet.) I love how easily you can pull the mouth piece up and down, it’s great for Covid too as the mouth part has a double layer. The mouth part has a meshy type layer on the inside which really helps keep it from sticking to your face when it gets all moist from your breath. It kept the cold wind off my face really nicely. Great for day and evening skiing. If I was gonna go night skiing on a really cold night I might get the thicker version of this for extra warmth. This regular thickness one still kept me warm too tho. I’m definitely going to eventually buy a couple of these in different colors. Really worth the price and I love all the awesome colors and patterns.

    I bought this for skiing and it did not disappoint. As any face masks, by the end of the day it is moist but it works great, it’s light weight yet very warm and keeps wind burn away. I love the fact that you can pull it down below your nose and put it back up without having to adjust your helmet. Maybe a little pricey compared to other masks on the market, but it is definitely a great mask!

    Most of the reviews are related to skiing or coldness weather activities. I bought this to take for lobster mini season in Key West this year (July 2018). Aside from everyone on the boat constantly referring to me as a ninja this product is high quality. In between dives I just popped it on and didn’t have to lather up with sun block constantly. 5 days on the water non stop in and out of the water constantly I needed real sun protection. This hood fits really well, blocks the sun, breathes very well (never felt too hot or smothered), works well with sunglasses for full face, eye and neck protection. Cannot say enough good things about this. I just machine washed it gentle on cold and dried it and it’s like new. Great item in both form and function.

    This balaclava is versatile, smartly designed, and generous in its proportions. Fits my big head, and it has a long neck that keeps my neck warm, as the balaclava stays securely underneath my jacket. It surprised me the first few times I rode with it, because it really kept my head warm.

    I like the option of either having my entire face, except for my eyes, covered, or just my mouth, or the third option, underneath my chin.

    I wore this for snowmobiling. they are breathable, but it definitely fogged my glasses and goggles. It was very compatible while wearing a helmet and I felt like my face and neck were warmer with it on, even though this was not fleece. Overall I do believe it is a tad over-priced, but I get it. I would use this as a gaiter, but it does not stay on my face while covering my nose, unless I have my hair in a high ponytail since the hair will get in the way of it staying in place. I found that it was a little big for me, but it was definitely comfortable. I think this is great for people who are in the sun alot or require the use of a helmet often. It seemed durable and the prints are pretty neat.

    I was very excited to find this colorful balaclava for my grandson! The material is silky smooth but is also for warmth for his snowboarding! Couldn't be more perfect!!

    Glad I got 2 pink for the price of 1, and the pink even matches my Rapha corral kits. The best part is the pink balaclava hood has the lowest price among all hoods. I used these for bicycling in the cold weather under my bike helmet. Also use these for skiing. In my last ski trip in Beaver Creek, I saw folks selling these in BC for $35 and I am glad I bought these on Amazon for $15. I have no problem wearing pink under my helmet. It serves its purpose and I think real men can wear pink too. The ability to adjust the face/nose mask/cover up and down without affecting your chin cover is pretty neat. I have to wear glasses and my glasses are easily slide through the hood. On the slope, I wear this hood under my helmet with Smith Prophecy Turbo Fan. On my bike, I wear this hood underneath my Casco Speedairo RS but I have to remove the nose cover now and then because it started to fog up my visor. Again, the thin material allow me to wear my glasses under my helmet and under my goggle/ski visor. The neck cover is nice and not bulky at all, I can still wear my thermal bike kit while bicycling in the winter and have no problem with my ski jacket when I ski with this hood. Good luch folks!
