    I was a bit worried about the two pieces that snap together, since I wasn't sure how sturdy this was going to be once put together. We get a lot of snow at times and I commute to the train station so my car can be sitting out for 8+ hours and be buried by the time I get back. That requires a sturdy snow brush. This one seems it's sturdy enough although I don't think I'll have to test it on that heavy of a snow this year since we've been having warmer temperatures.

    The bristles are pretty standard, not that soft but not harsh either. They should be fine and not scratch any paint - just make sure they are clean of debris and especially any ice that may get trapped in the bristles. The scrapper is also a bit standard although it may be a bit wider than my last one.

    The brush as a foam padding to help with grip as well as a handle above the bristle head part. The brush is just over 2 feet long so depending on how tall your vehicle is, you may have to reach a bit to get the top cleared. Since the middle part is designed to disconnect as well, you can separate the brush when not in use if needed.
