    I purchased and used the AVAPOW Car Jump Starter Battery Jumper Starter to jump start my 2012 Mercedes C300.

    First, I was really nervous because I've NEVER jumped a battery nor have I ever seen or used a jump starter. I bought this one because I read the reviews and someone mentioned it was easy.

    The most difficult part of the process had nothing to do with the jump starter. I had to go online to find out where the positive and negative parts of my battery were located as it's not obvious on the C300.

    Once I connected the jump starter, the car started instantly. I was so proud of myself and excited that it worked!

    After jump starting the car, the jump starter registered from 100 to 4. I took the car to get the emissions done where they turned it off. The car did not start so we hooked the jump starter to it, and it actually started again. They turned the car off again. We used the jump starter once more, and it actually started the car for a third time!! It almost didn't want to, but it did.

    I HIGHLY recommend this jump starter. You never know when you'll be in a situation where you don't have a second car to get a jump from... Or in my situation, the front of the car where the battery was too far into the garage where another car couldn't get close enough to reach to do a jump.

    Update 10/21/21, I wanted to update my review from the last review I posted a few months back. I purchased the jump starter but it did not work once I got around to having to use it a month later. I was very disappointed. I was contacted by customer service and they went above and beyond to provide me with several options. A replacement jump starter or a full refund, despite the order date being way past 30 days. I opted for a replacement at which point I was sent the newest version of their product. I greatly appreciate their efforts and commitment to outstanding customer service. This seller gets 5 stars for going above and beyond.

    Jump starter waste of money- did not work
    I ordered the Avapow jump starter as I got stuck with a dead car on the side of the road and decided I would never let that happen to me again. After doing some research and reading reviews, I selected this item. I purchased this item in June 2021 and didn’t have to use it until mid July. I charged the starter weekly and kept it in my car. I then had another experience with a dead battery on a family member’s car (Ford Fusion sedan) and ran for the Avapow jump starter. The starter was able to give enough power to turn on the lights back in the car for a few moments. The vehicle engine would not turnover despite the 100% charge on the jump starter. I made continuous attempts to keep the connects on the car to allow enough time for a charge, but the battery quickly ran down to 20% and was of no use to get the vehicle started.

    I contacted AVapow customer service via email and provided my order number and reference the 2 year warranty on the product. I then requested a replacement as the product was defective. It has now been a month later and I have received no communication. I would not recommend this product to anyone as the seller is misrepresenting its product and they do not stand behind their products.

    Does not keep a charge. Now it’s months later and a neighbor needed a jump. Used the charger and the SUV started running. Company did reach out to exchange and upgrade but I never followed through. Charger works so I’m happy.

    This charger is seriously the best. My car battery has been giving me trouble, but I haven’t had time to get it replaced. Basically for 3 days now I’ve had to give my car battery a little charge to get my car started. I drive a 2013 VW Golf. This charger is small but mighty. I hook it up to my battery and within 10 seconds it’s ready for me to start my car. This product is quick and reliable. If the charger is at 100% and I jump my car, it still has at least 90% left. So you can use it several times before having to recharge it. Highly recommend. I’m actually buying a few for gifts this year.

    This item is truly a lifesaver. It charged quickly and was powerful enough to start my SUV without using much of the battery. I have been having issues with my vehicles battery and purchased this just in case. I was leery because other reviews were mixed on this being able to hold a charge. I used it once and then kept it in my car. Several weeks later, I found myself in need of a jump again and I pulled this out. The battery had not depleted at all and I was able to start my car instantly. It has been weeks since then and I decided to just take a peek at the battery level and... it is still good. I recommend giving this a try. Not only is powerful, it's easy to use, its size is convenient for storage and it also comes with a nice storage case.
