    I live in my RV full time, for four years now, with sometimes heavy winter snow. This year Salt Lake City area had record snow fall. There are two problems with that, first and foremost the weight of wet snow and then the slow melting of the snow can seep into areas that never allow typical rain in. Like the top and sides of the slide.
    So, it's imperative to remove the snow without damaging the rubber membrane roof. Its nice that the pole disconnects into smaller pieces (around 15") making it easy to store in an RV. I wish that they sold the handle pieces separately so I could make it as long as I needed. I was able to use a paint pole, making it longer, but its more difficult to store that in the RV. The rake part is a firm but giving foam. Now that
    Spring is finally here, I got up on the roof and inspected it, as I do each spring. There were no marks what so ever on the roof. I used the snow rake on my truck to remove the snow. It worked great without scratching the paint. Do not use this on ice. The ice cuts into the foam. I work at an RV dealer they use something like this one to remove snow off the roof, but it has a swivel to it so that it can bend lower against the roof. I highly recommend this product to anyone for removing snow.

    Worked great for one winter when it functioned properly. Removed snow easily and thoroughly. This past winter the handle, unexpectedly, decided to stop functioning as designed. It's likely some plastic piece inside the handle that broke due to the combination of cold temperatures and cheap quality. I am able to extend and retract the handle but it does not lock into place. It is still usable to remove snow but I'm left with a SnoBrum that whimsically elongates and retracts depending on the motion. Kind of annoying to have to manage when it's 10 degrees outside and I just want to get the 12 inches of snow off the car and drive to work in the morning. Also, rough ice on the windshield (or anywhere) will eat up the soft foam head pretty quick. All in all, OK product, just wish it was a little more robust to hold up for longer than one season.

    I have bought this a few times over the years. It is fantastic cleaning off the car. But I found that is also good to remove/ push light snow from the deck. Shoveling snow from deck can damage the paint. Also good to remove light snow from front door landing. Then you can put icemelt down & step out without falling. Only plus or minus is the handle. Adjustable which is great for the car.. but if your pushing heavy snow from car tubing can bend.. I find a wooded broom handle is a good replacement when needed. When I wear it out from use I will buy again.

    Arrived early . assembled easily and can adjust length well made and very durable . works great to remove even heavy snow from my car .You can disassemble it to store in your vehicle as well very happy with it ????

    I have to keep on tightening it when using it. Should be able to make it smaller, but the handle is too long to put in the car, so it needs to come apart each time. Not worth it.
