    I used this brush to scrub outdoor cushions and plastic swings. I really liked that it was easy to hold onto. Also, the bristles stayed stiff even after I was done with the scrubbing.     I purchased this brush to work in carpet cleaner into my vehicle's carpet. For that purpose, this brush worked perfectly. It also worked well on my car's heavy-duty cloth upholstery, but I had to take care not to scrub too vigorously, as the brush's bristles are very stiff.

    When I used the same brush on my high/low 70's carpet, it did the job, but I had some concerns again about how hard I should scrub. Then came the Berber carpet, where with very little scrubbing with the Mothers Carpet and Upholstery Brush I snagged it.

    What did I learn? This brush, while very well made and easy to grip, should be tested out on an area of the fabric or carpet you plan to clean prior to committing to use it on a large area. It's tough! Too tough for some jobs that require a gentler touch.

    This brush could easily be used to scrub tile floors or similar jobs on hard surfaces, so if it doesn't work for you on carpets and upholstery, it's definitely not a throwaway item. Just know that it may take some time to find a brush or brushes that are 'just right' and not too hard or too soft for your cleaning job.

    Other brushes to consider: Fuller Original Garment & Upholstery Brush, Chemical Guys ACC_202 Professional Interior Induro Brush, and if you have a drill, Chemical Guys (ACC_201_BRUSH_MD) Yellow Medium Duty All Surface/Purpose Carpet Brush with Drill Attachment or Drill Powered Upholstery Scrub Brush.

    I looked at a lot of reviews and wanted something that wouldn't tear my cloth seats in the car. I've used this for months and I've let the spray settle in my car, put the bristles in some water and it works like a charm. The bristles don't come out or anything. It seems to be the perfect mix of sturdy but soft enough to not damage your seat

    Got this brush over other because it says its soft for use with leather seats. Got it quick and its a sturdy brush but its just too rough. It seems to have caused small amounts of fabric to get pulled up so its not good for what i needed. It did clean it well but with damaging the fabric is just frustrating, and yes i was gently with it. Oh well, it is what it is

    I have a decorative rough at my slider door. It had some stains on it and was just plain dirty. I used this brush with Dawn dishwashing detergent and a stain remover with oxy for carpet and cleaned it up pretty well. I recommend all “Mothers” brand products and didn’t even realize it was their brand until after I used it. They make excellent products that just work!
