This is my second Biuble jump box. My first one is the 1000 amp box that I got for my car, which is now called the 4000 amp box for some reason. This 6000 amp version is for my truck, but when I bought it, it was the 5000 amp version. Now it's called the 6000 amp version.
I don't know why. Maybe the larger amp number sells more jump boxes. Who knows.
Either way, I've used the 1000 amp jump box on my car, a 97 S-10 Blazer and a neighbors Ford escape. It worked great every time except on the old Blazer. It got hot and something popped when I tried to use it. I put it away and jumped the Blazer with my cables the old fashion way.
When I got home I plugged in the 1000 amp Biuble and it charged up normally. I've used it a couple times since then, including charging my phone and it works just fine. I don't know what happened when it popped.
The latest one I bought back in May for my 6.7 L Dodge Cummins. I used it the other day to jump an Expedition and the truck started right up, no problems. Everyone is always impressed that this little box can jump start a vehicle.
Ahh modern times.
They're also pretty affordable, very useful and super convenient. Definitely get one, charge it up and stick it in your trunk. They come in handy.
I set a notification on my phone to remind me every three months to go out and get them and charge them up. I should probably change it to every 4 or 5 months, but definitely remind yourself to keep it charged on occasion.
It can be charged in your car while you're driving too which is convenient.
Worth it ????
