    I’m super happy with the Evoflex hoses from Camco. I’ve had a lot of different hoses over the years. I’ve tried the hoses that compress flat, the hoses that shrink down and the regular blue hoses. I have a couple of premium Camco water hoses, and they are a great product and very durable, but retain coil shape and are not flexible.

    To start the hose is lighter in weight than a regular blue hose. But it doesn’t compromise on the quality of the threaded ends. Plus it has coil style end protectors, which is a big plus. The hose does roll up, but when you unroll it and straighten it a bit there is no coil memory and it lies nice and flat. The hose does not tend to kink, especially with water pressure applied.

    The blue color is nice. And while all hoses pick up some dirt as they are laying on the ground, dirt and sand don’t tend to stick to the exterior texture of the hose.

    This hose is competitively priced and is replacing all the hoses in my gear collection.

    This hose is so much nicer than the standard white hoses.

    Very flexible even when it cools off. So easy to coil up and route around and under stuff to keep a clean appearance.

    The ends are made out of a machined metal, which makes it thread nicely on hose bibs and other accessories. Worth the extra cost over the white ones.

    This is a great hose. Very flexible, excellent connections, great material choices for durability and drinking water safety, and made in USA. Even the color is great.

    I tried a Flexzilla and it came with a bad crimp that must have occurred during shipping so it was a no go. I decided to try a different brand and went with this Camco which seems every bit as flexible to me.

    I noticed some reviews that mentioned the hose blowing out at the connection. Note that the packaging indicates this hose is recommended for 40 to 50 psi. I don't know what pressure those reviewers were running but higher pressure is a possible explanation for the blow-outs.

    If I have problems with it I will update the review. My pressure is within the Camco recommended range so it will not be a pressure issue if mine has problems.

    This is a great RV hose! Easy to use, and especially easy to use in cold weather. No kinks, drains easily and takes up much less storage space than a regular hose the same length. Wish I would have found this hose sooner!

    I have been using the other blue hoses of the same brand but they are so stiff and impossible to manage. It takes two people to coil them up. These are much more flexible and easily coiled but they are quick to kink because they're so soft and flexible. They have high quality fittings and seem to be crimped well. They do not leak and are easy to tighten by hand. I have used the other popular brand of blue house that is also easily manageable but every one that I owned leaked from the box or within a few months. This one has held up well and is a fair compromise for a manageable hose that doesn't leak.

    I now love this hose, but hate the original packaging. It is wound too tight and the tie puts a dent in the end. The picture shows it 2 weeks later with only a small dent where the piece of straw is. Someone posted a of the packaging. I would have rated it a 3-4 when I first received it. It was so tightly coiled that it stayed coiled after unpacking and kinked. I could pull on the hose and get the kinks out, unlike other hoses. So I gave it a chance.

    After a week of frustration, I spread the hose out and drug it around to help work out the spiral and coil. It worked. Now it seldom kinks, but if it does kink, it doesn't remember the kink.

    So the packaging makes it spiral and coil. Give it a chance. It won't remember and then is an excellent garden hose. I'm planning on getting another.

    So, you've bothered to go to the expense and bother of putting an inline filter into your outdoor gardening system and your plants are happy you did. And, if you bought the right filter, now you can use that nasty city water for storing to drink also.
    But, even with the filter, it might taste bad if you use your regular garden hose. That's where this Camco Evo-flex hose, made specially for drinking water, comes in. Without a hose designated for drinking water, your meticulously filtered water will have toxic chemicals from your garden hose added to it. You don't want that, do you? And the taste of water from an ordinary garden hose is typically less-than-appetizing. This was a flexible, lightweight, and entirely serviceable addition to my garden/prepping supplies. Although it's never advisable to leave any hose in the broiling sun, I did so by accident, and the Evo-flex took it like a champ. The water passes through my Boogie Blue filter through the hose and smells and tastes 100% better than before. Fittings are nicely made and secure. So far, no leaks. Good job, Camco!
