I was skeptical because I have used so many products in the past that have claimed to fix problems and they did not. This stuff actually works good. My 25 year old car refused to shift into high gear so I decided to try this stuff. I used a pump and sucked out some transmission fluid, so when I added the Lucas I would not over fill the transmission. The transmission started to work better right away, but it does say to give it a couple hundred miles to work fully.
The more I drive it the better it gets but this is just prolonging the inevitable. If you have a newer car and you have the money to fix your transmission then don't go this route. But if you have an older car like mine that isn't worth a $3,000 to $5,000 rebuild, then use the Lucas transmission fix. I don't know how long this stuff will prolong the life of my transmission but I will update this review with any changes.
