    I recently purchased the YaberAuto 3000A Car Battery Jump Starter, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. As someone who prefers being prepared for any situation on the road, this device has quickly become an essential part of my car emergency kit. This is the second YaberAuto jump starter product I've purchased. Now I have one for both of my cars in case of emergency.

    This jump starter packs an impressive 3000A peak current, making it capable of starting both gas (up to 7.0L) and diesel (up to 5.5L) engines with ease. I’ve personally tested it on my SUV with a completely dead battery, and it started the vehicle in seconds. The instructions are straightforward, and the jumper cables are well-designed with intelligent clamps that prevent reverse polarity and short circuits. Even for someone unfamiliar with car maintenance, the setup is intuitive and safe.

    I received this product a few days ago. Although I have not tried out its primary function, jumping a battery, I have tried out every other function. Everything works as expected. I was able to charge the unit with the cord provided. The flashlight works great giving a large ambient light. I could charge both my phone and my iPad with the device. I tried charging my laptop but it did not have enough output for that. There is a nice storage bag that came with it. They provide instructions in many different languages. It charges from 0% to 100% from my phone charger in about 4 to 5 hours. Although I have not tried it on a dead battery, given the professional presentation of the device and everything else working as expected I have no doubt it will jump my car with no problem. I own another product from this same company and it works great. It jumped my car every time no problem.

    I was excited to try the new YaberAuto YA80 after using the YaberAuto YA60 for a couple of years. The first thing I noticed was how small and lightweight this unit was compared to its larger brother. It comes with a nice carrying bag for storage when not in use. This booster easily fits in a glovebox or door-side pocket.

    Upon arrival, the unit was almost fully charged and only took about 30 minutes to reach full capacity. I decided to test it on my 1982 Ford 4630 diesel tractor on a cold day. After an overnight low in the mid-teens and a current temperature of 40°F, I unhooked the tractor battery and connected the YA80 directly to the terminals. The first attempt was disappointing, as the tractor only managed a grunt. My friend wasn’t surprised, saying there was no way something this small could start the tractor.

    I told him to hang on and I pressed the “Force Start” button. This time, I held the tractor key in the heat position for about 20 seconds before turning it to the start position. The tractor roared to life without hesitation. My friend was impressed.

    While I like this booster, I can’t say I love it. The “Force Start” button is located on the bottom of the connector, making it difficult to access. The instructions aren’t clear about why the button needs to be pressed, and the red/green flashing light sequence for showing connection is not intuitive. Additionally, the USB 3 connection is solely for charging the booster, while the USB 2 connection is for powering or charging accessories. I could never get more than 5 watts out of the booster when charging my phone, but it did successfully bring it to 100%. The built-in flashlight is very bright and would be sufficient for most roadside emergencies.

    After using this booster for a few days, I would recommend the YA80 to someone needing a small, lightweight option. However, if you have the space and budget, the YA60 is a much better product overall.
