    But beware. There are no instructions. I think what you have to do is spray liberally, let it sit for a little while and rinse it off with water. Let it dry and apply the K&N oil. At least that worked for me.

    But what the bottle does state not get any on your clothes or skin and if you do, rinse off immediately. So wear the appropriate protection. But it seems that for this application, the product should be a little more friendly? At least it’s not in a pressurized can that would likely go all over the place.

    No damage , it was very easy to use to claim my air filter on my 98,000 mile car which is a 17 Malibu LT. Took it out last night cleaned it overnight and install it the next morning. Car run right now no complaints no issues. Wish I had a board, all the others.

    Spray on let it sit for 10 or 15 minutes (don't allow to dry) and rinse off from inside out.
