Great air cleaner

Installed a 440 CI engine in my 69 Dodge Coronet with a tall intake manifold. I didn’t want to cut or modify my hood. This was the best air cleaner that fit under my hood. Thanks Edelbrock.

Solidly Built, Small Inconvenience

For the price, this is quite a great modification, especially for TBI engines.
On the down-side, the air cleaner assembly comes with a small tube at the bottom for your pcv ventilation hose, defeating the purpose of "filtration" if you decide not to use a pcv hose. However, there is an easy fix for this. Simply take some high-temperature vinyl tape and block off the hole and then blow on it to make sure it won't let air in or out and then you're good to go :)

I liked that it is more heavy duty than others I have tried. I would have liked to have had a plug for the breather tube, but other than that it is good stuff.

Even using a TBI "adapter" it has to be screwed down really tight. So I ditched the adapter and just used the original thread. It works and looks good.
