This product was amazing! The tool to remove the valve, tube and slime were easy to use. The key, after inflating the tire was to spin it many, many, many revolutions to ensure the slime would spread out. More air was needed and more spinning. Be sure to secure the valve tightly, when inserting it back.

Slime bike tire sealant is a great all-around sealant that works well on bicycle tubes. Green Slime is a fibrous sealant with lots of little fibers suspended in solution. It can plug holes, but the effect may only last a few days. Slime also has a blue label sealant that is designed for recreational vehicles such as ATVs, quads, boat trailers, and dirt bikes.
When using Slime in tubes, you may need to remove the presta valve core to force the sealant into the tube. 2 ounces is recommended for a road bike tube, and the sealant can seal punctures up to 1/8 inch or multiple punctures.
Sometimes the valve will become clogged with Slime preventing you from even forcing it into the tube. When this happens I just purchased a new tube.

Slime is a must for anyone that rides a bike. You really only have to put half as much as they say. This bottle will do 2 26inch tired and 1 more tire or 2 20 inch tires on my kids bike. You could do 4 tires if the tubes were 700c ( which is the 29 inch extra skinny types for faster but paved surfaces. I'm in Southern California so we grow prodigious weeds with those sticker clusters with heir ⅛ to ¼ inch hard spikes in all directions. Slime will allow your tube to heal its pinhole leaks by clotting in the wounds once the sticker is removed. After pulling stickers from the surface of your tire and prying out the ones that broke off at the surface but left a ¼ spike , get them all pulled out by carefully prying upward with a knife tip as shallow as possible, don't stab your tire up. Also do the same for glass because glass eventually works its way further in and shreds tubes later on. Anyway once thorns are pulled flip bike upside down on seat and handlebars so that wheels are in the air. Inflate your tire halfway or more then spin your tire and just let it spin freely for a minute. The centrifugal force will spread your slime evenly across the inside of the tubes outer facing surface. And some how the slime gets into the pinholes and knows to bond itself with the rubber permanently plugging the hole. It's s mystery to me why it stays liquid inside the tire but hardens when It plugs a pinhole. Both circumstances have it touching rubber and exposed to air....Anyway after it spins a bit inflate rest of the way and spin. Your probably good to go. If you notice it still having a very slow leak so after a mile your tire is a little soft , just reinflate and ride and it should take. . Keep in mind the stuff is for pinhole punctures only. If you slice your tube, or rip it by pinching it against the ground with your rim from trying to ride It extremely deflated. Or if you break the neck of your valve stem. You need a new tube. Since this is a long tutorial il keep going. If you do ruin your slimed tube you should cut the stem all the way off. Remove the valve core of your new tube and jam the good stem into the stem hole of the old tube. Then you can toothpaste squeeze the old slime into the new tube. After that cut the old tube along the inside circumference and cut away the stem n wound and use the old tube as a jacket for your new tube. Install that in your wheel and you will be rocking it. Your bike will be just slightly slower and I mean very slightly. But if it was a heavy duty tube you will now be immune to stickers. Very rarely will the very tip of a freak big sticker make it through double tubes. And in rare case it does slime will seal it before you even lose Any air. One last important note. To install slime you first remove the tubes stem core. It's a little one way flow thing. The black cap to your slime bottle is actually a tool to unscrew the core...lefty loosy. But careful its not uncommon to strip the teeth off the little cap tool trying to remove a stubborn core. Get a good full contact with the core. And carefully apply slow even pressure. If it's not loosening easy yoh should stop and hit the core with a spit of wd40. Then try again sometimes they are just too much for the cap tl handle. You might then need to buy or make a metal versions of the tool. Final final last tip. If later on you can't get the tire to accept air From your pump. Or if you notice your loosing air from the inside if the stem ( make sure its not on outside where stem meets the tube, ) but if it is getting past your valve core simply remove your core and clear the core of any dried slime that stuck it in an open or stuck closed state. You can rub the dry slime off so it works right again and reinstall into your stem. Okay. Final final final tip. Whe. Inflating or removing stem core of a slimed tube. Always have the stem near the top of the rotation. So.it doesn't spit everywhere. If stem is at bottom when you remove core, think about it. Yohr opening a hole in a Ballon at the part that is under fluid.yhe bike weight will spit it up and put the tube. Longest review ever yes. Was testing to see if it would cut me off lol. Buy slime. Its some extra steps ti deal with but it will keep your bike rolling SO much more reliably. Everyone I know who bikes here considers it mandatory. If your not slimed then your wheel isn't ready. Might as well not even have a tube at that point. This is THE definitive brand none of that alternative brands is even competitive. Slime formula is truly perfect fir it's purpose.

I’m a fan of this product. I’ve used it in several bikes I’ve ridden in the past 5 years. It greatly reduces the risks of flats, and the hassle of changing or repairing a tube while on the road. A word of caution, however. It can reasonably work only on bikes with Schrader valves. If one has a bike with a Presta valve, consult your bike shop about an alternative product.

Leaky volleyball repair - didn't really work

I bought this to try repairing several leaking volleyballs that were going to be discarded.

RESULTS: Not really successful. One ball that had been holding air for 1-2 weeks (i.e. very slow leak) was able to hold air for *several* weeks after treatment. But the rest basically needed to be re-inflated every few days. Maybe each ball need much more slime than I added.

MY PROCESS: I bought an inflation valve repair kit. Used the tool to remove the inflation valves. I added several mLs of this product into the vball and quickly put in a new valve. After inflating, I spun the vball for 5-10 minutes in multiple directions so as to coat the inside surface. Then I let the ball sit, but for the next few hours I repeated the spinning process to redistribute the slime. Over a 3 weeks period I repeated this process on 5 vballs, testing varying amounts of slime (2, 4, 5, 7, and 8ml).

I use this on all my eBikes and electric scooters and with over a thousand miles I’ve only had one flat. A small sharp piece of wood punctured the rear tire of my ebike, I heard a loud pop and continued to ride thinking I ran over an acorn, it wasn’t till the next day when I went to ride did I notice the flat, I was approximately two miles from home when the tire got punctured and made it home just fine.
