Tremendous remedy for Zero Turn front tire flats

I own a Kubota zero turn and am always blowing the small treadless front tires. I have a ton of hardwoods which at the base thorn bushes grow, dead fall collects, etc…I’ve gone through many front tires and tried going with an inner tube, which didn’t hold up at all. After blowing both inner tubes within two weeks, I bought the hard rubber tires which are horrible if you don’t mow a golf course like yard.
I found Slime which someone had recommended on a thread and decided to try it. I ordered and put my stock tires with flat tubes back on, pumped the slime in and within minutes I’m back on the turf. I’ve mowed 3 acres of rough terrain three times since and the tires are holding up. It’s a nice and cushy ride too because while there is quite a bit of the green stuff in the tires, there’s also air…with no place to go.
Def the way to go if you are mowing a non-manicured lawn. Highly recommend!

I have used this product for a number of years to seal tires on a lawn tractor which has been punctured by osage orange thorns. Instructions are well written and the tube works great to place the slime into the tire.

I used this on my scooter. I have a fat bear scooter. The tires are fat…about the size of a golf cart tire. My tire was popped and this stuff has held in the air for about two weeks so far. No sign of any air coming out! Just follow the instructions and it should work great!!

Love this stuff...saves time and money

With a few acres of brushy property it seems like everything on wheels eventually develops a slow leak. After changing out my third inner tube in the span of a month I finally decided I'd had enough.

For one thing, it's a nuisance. Grab the wheelbarrow for something quick...nope...gotta deal with a flat. Kids want to ride bikes...drop everything and air up their tires. Plan on doing this again tomorrow if you didn't actually fix anything. Another thing is that Inner tubes run anywhere from $6 to $15 now....that adds up. And finally the time suck. Get pulled away from what you were doing and switch into tire mode. It's not complicated work, but it takes at least half an hour by the time you get the wheel and tire off and figure out the tube size to order or put on a patch. Gotta run the compressor and find the tire chuck etc etc.

This is where tire slime starts to shine. The 2in1 version works for tubed and tubeless tires. For under $30 and an hour of my time I have solved my tire problems for the foreseeable future. I ordered a gallon and tackled everything on wheels. That one gallon did an ATV, four bikes, a wheelbarrow, lawn tractor, yard cart, and snow blower.

It's easy to use...simply remove the valve stem with the provided tool and let the tire deflate. Pump in the recommended amount of slime from the chart on the bottle. Reinstall the stem and inflate the tire. Drive or roll the tire to distribute the slime and you are good to go.

It's been a couple of months since I slimed everything and I haven't had a need for my tire chuck since. So, suffer death by a thousand cuts or bite the bullet and solve the problem for a couple years at a time.

I had a hole in my mower tire that was to big to patch or plug so it was new tire time then I looked at this stuff bought it put it in drove the mower around for about 30 minutes and it has not went down yet so this is a A + will buy more for the other mowers now just to keep from having flats

used this on my 4-inch e-bike tires to seal the tubes to prevent puncture. I ride it a lot in the dessert and was told this would help prevent punctures before I get a flat. It works great so far!!

It’s okay

My cruiser bike got a flat from goatheads, so I used this to fix it. It’s weird that they said to put the goo in while it’s deflated? I pumped up my tire first & then spun it while my bike was suspended, so maybe that’s why it didn’t work so well for me, but that’s what the bike shop did with my first flat. I can’t unscrew my pump seal now, not sure if it’s from heat or the goo sinking into it. My tire also leaks air still & I have to pump it up every few days or so - it doesn’t deflate completely, but doesn’t stay as full as it should. Could just be user error. I also wish it had markers on the bottle for every 4oz since that’s how much it recommends putting in.
