This might be the closest you can get to a new car smell. I read some negative reviews saying that the vent clip would run out really fast and that it was expensive for how little time it would last but that it was still worth it because of how close the scent was to the actual thing.

I for sure thought it was a little pricey compared to other brands so I got a pack of 2 clips to give it a try. I started off with one clip and the scent is strong enough to make my entire 4Runner smell good. It lasted me just over 2 months. And I have the AC on ALL THE TIME!! It’s not an over powering smell that would cause headaches nor does it have a chemical scent. It really does smell like a brand new car but better???

If I really had to describe it, it smells like a brand new car but more light? Not that the scent is light itself and hard to smell, but just more “bright” and a bit less warm and leathery.

It did not leak whatsoever and it’s not bulky where it sticks out too much. It’s also small enough where I can still move my air vent around.

This is my absolute FAVORITE smell for my car. These are the only air fresheners I have had in my car since I bought my first car years ago. At this point it’s a nostalgia thing for me. But WHY does this specific smell have to be SO MUCH more expensive than the other smells??

I HAD TO WAIT A LITTLE WHILE AFTER I RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT FROM AMAZON BEFORE EVALUATING IT TO SEE HOW LONG THE SCENT LASTS. WELL, IT'S BEEN IN MY TRUCK FOR SOMETHING LIKE THREE WEEKS NOW AND IT IS STILL DISPENSING AN UNDIMINISHED PLEASANT AROMA. HOW LONG THE AROMA WILL LAST IS ANYBODY'S GUESS, BUT SO FAR ITS LONGEIVITY HAS BEEN QUITE SATISFACTORY.
THE LIQUID SCENT PRODUCT IS CONTAINED IN A BLACK PLASTIC DISPENSER ABOUT ONE AND A HALF INCHES SQUARE (37.5 MM, GIVE OR TAKE). I ATTACHED MINE ONTO A AIRVENT LOUVER SO THAT THE VENT FAN CAN DISTRIBUTE THE SCENT, BUT IT CAN BE PLACED ANYWHERE THAT HAS A THIN-ENOUGH SURFACE FOR THE BUILT-ON CLIP TO GRIP. THERE IS A TINY PLASTIC CLEAR WINDOW ON THE FRONT SO THAT ONE CAN SEE HOW MUCH OF THE LIQUID SCENT PRODUCT REMAINS. BY THE WAY, THERE ARE A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT AROMAS AVAILABLE.
THERE IS A SLIDING TAB AT THE VERY TOP WHICH ALLOWS THE USER TO ADJUST HOW MUCH SCENT IS RELEASED. I HAVE KEPT MINE AT THE LOWEST SETTING. THAT WORKS FINE FOR ME--MY TRUCK CAB HAS A SMALL INSIDE VOLUME. THE DISPENSER WHICH CONTAINS THE LIQUID PRODUCT IS MADE OF PLASTIC, WHICH IN THIS CASE IS ENTIRELY APPROPRIATE. THERE ARE NO MARKINGS INDICATING THE PIECE IS RECYCLABLE.
FINALLY, LET'S NOT FORGET ABOUT HOW THE LIQUID SCENT IS FORMULATED. THE PRODUCT INSTRUCTION SHEET INDICATES, IN BOTH ENGLISH AND FRENCH, THAT NO PHTHALATES OR FORMALDEHYDE HAS BEEN USED, BUT THE ENCLOSED LITERATURE DOES NOT INDICATE WHETHER THE SCENT'S CHEMICAL MIX MIGHT, UNDER CERTAIN CUMCUMSTANCES, BE HARMFUL. THE PRODUCT IS MANUFACTURED IN MEXICO AND THERE IS NO MEDICAL STAMP OF APPROVAL FROM ANY GOVERNMENT AGENCY--OR FROM ANYWHERE ELSE, FOR THAT MATTER. I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING NEGATIVE ON THE INTERNET, SO I GUESS IT'S "BUYER BEWARE." THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG TIME, SO I PERSONALLY DON'T HAVE ANY CONCERNS ABOUT SAFETY.
I LIKE THIS PRODUCT VERY MUCH. I HOPE BUYERS WILL ENJOY HAVING A PLEASENT SCENT IN YOUR VEHICLE AS MUCH AS I HAVE IN MINE.
