5.0 out of 5 stars Best budget bike cover ????????

Comments:
Great quality bike cover for the money, just what I was looking got. Nothing fancy, just a decent cover to keep the rain out. Ordered the closest size based on the overall length of my bike and it fits perfectly. Nice and snug, the 3 straps underneath really keep it on.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does the job, but not a think or solid as expected

I like the orange, which helps to see the bike and cover. Nothing fancy about this cover. I found it thinner and lighter than expected.

It grips the bike well, with the stretch straps at front and back. But blows in the wind. It is longer than expected for my large V-twin Honda VTX 1800s, so the skirt sits a touch on the street. However, fully covers the bike.

Not clearly marked front and rear, once you figure it out, then need to mark it with a sharpie.

License plate not exposed. I know some cities will ticket for that, but not mine.

I have several covers, and what I like best about this cover is the orange safety and the light easy to install.

I only wish they put a logo or image so you know the front and back of the cover.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the price - XYZCTEM All Season Black Waterproof Outdoor Sun Motorcycle Cover
Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2017
This review is for the XYZCTEM XXXL large All Season Black Waterproof Outdoor Sun Motorcycle cover,116"
.
I ordered this size to see if it would fit my 2006 Fatboy w/windshield and large saddlebags and 2017 Ultra Limited (have to remove the antenna). It does fit both with no problem. I could use the XXL on the Fatboy if I did not have the windshield on it. Fitment on both bikes was good. The cover went all the way to the ground and I am able to strap it through the tires. It is easy to put on by myself and even easier with two people. It does fold up small enough to toss in the tour pack or saddle bag if I wanted to take it with me, just know that it is not tiny, so it will take up some room.
.
The cover seems to be well made (for the price), though only time and usage will tell for sure. The material is smooth on the inside from what I can tell will not scratch the paint. The outside is like a stiffer windbreaker material. Based on what others have said and what I know of the material, it should keep the bike dry during an overnight rain. The material is also of the type that will get brittle over time when exposed to the sun. Once that starts happening I would worry about it scratching the bike. The tie down straps and holes should be okay for general use and light winds. Because of the type of material, they probably will not stand up to constant high winds. That said, one other important factor for it surviving higher winds is the fit. If it does not reach the ground and the wind can get under it easily it will lift. On the other hand if it is way too big and billowy, then it allows the wind to create a pocket which puts much more stress on the straps. As an example for the my Fatboy, I would see about trying a XXL on it for a snugger fit, if I planned to store it outside.
.
My primary use of this will be to keep the bikes covered while in the garage so that they do not get dust covered.
My secondary use will be to cover the bike overnight while on trips to keep the dew/rain off.
I have no doubt that it will be able to handle doing this
.
If you park your bike under a carport with some wind protection this will work great
If on the sheltered side of the house, it should work good.
If the cover will be the bikes only shelter and you live in a mild weather area, then it should be okay, but do not expect it to last a long time.
If you are in a high heat/heavy sunshine area and it is your only cover and is exposed to the sun for most of the day then spend a couple hundred dollars on a high end unit designed for those conditions (or don't you love your bike?) If you have room, buy one of the semi portable units that are like a mini garage for your bike.
.
Overall I will buy it again. For the price you cannot beat it, as long as you do not expect to get diamonds when you pay for cubic zirconia.
5 Stars because it met my expectations based on the price I paid for it.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Think I'm Going to Order the 87" Cover
Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2024
Ordered on: March 11, 2024
Delivered on: March 13, 2024

This cover has potential, fabrication, stitching, quality of the material feels durable. Could last a couple of years before the sun starts to rip it to shreds.

Amazonconfirmedfit, however, is inaccurate. I have a 2005 SuzukiGSXR 1000, and the 91" cover is way to big for this bike. The bottom of the cover touches the ground, which will give easy(ier) pathways for bugs and spiders to go crawling underneath it. Not to mention contact with puddles of water after a rain storm. Photos attached. As to longevity, well, I will be returning this 91" cover and reordering the 87", their smallest size, to see how that fits and time will tell how long it'll last. Will be updating this review with the 87".

3.0 out of 5 stars Very light, good fit on '07 Sportster xlc
Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2024
Good fit on my '07 Sportster XLC.
This cover is very light, so it's easy to put on the bike....unless it's windy!
I'm "on the fence" trying to decide if I should buy another one. It's affordable (although the price went up from $14.xx to $20.xx. That's a significant price jump....33% more than the one I bought less than 2 months ago.. The quality is "iffy". I've bought two of these and now pondering getting a third one.
The first one lasted almost a year. The #2 cover came missing one of the tie-down straps and it
only has metal locking holes on the front...that was the case on both that I've bought. Also, one of the metal reinforcement rings was only attached to the fabric about halfway...so it's just hanging from the hole in the fabric... (not much of an issue to me, but it's something that might matter to others.). The light weight has its advantages but if it's windy it can be a bit difficult to put on the bike....

There's a small tear in the cover that I'm unsure if it was there when it was delivered, or the tear may have occurred after it was delivered?? It was easy to patch with a small piece of waterproof tape.

5.0 out of 5 stars For the price, a capable MC cover
Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2024
This is the 2nd MC cover I've ordered from XYZCTEM, the 1st was a little over 3 years ago. It's very capable, and covered my needs. My bike sits out in the weather 12 months a year in Colorado Springs, where the UV is intense in the summer (I live at 6300') and the cold is damn cold in the winter. My 1st cover started breaking down after 3 years, tearing while attempting to get it into place on the bike. Minor tears, but still tears. But for the price, how could I complain. The new cover arrived yesterday, and it's covering my machine now. I can't complain about a motorcycle cover that lasts three years in this environment, which I bought for less than $20. This most recent one was ~$15. When this one wears out, I'll be buying a 3rd...
