I have been a bit of a careless driver at times. Coming into contact with a curb more often then Id like to admit. So curb rash has been a constant battle for me. Those ugly scratches on my black rims were driving me crazy! So I decided to give the Gloss Black Rim Touch Up Paint a try.
The touch up paint is really easy to use. I am not exactly a DIY pro but the instructions were clear and the whole process was remarkably simple. First I had to clean the affected areas, then I just applied the paint. The applicator makes it super controllable and prevents messy drips or streaks.
I am very pleased with the results. My rims look nearly new! The gloss black paint matched my wheels perfectly, and unless you get really close, you cannot tell where the scratches used to be. This paint seems durable too, I have taken the car through a few car washes and have not seen any peeling.
The paint is a good value for the money. It saved me the hassle and expense of taking my car to a professional for a minor cosmetic issue. I can easily use this again if I inevitably get more scratches, and it will pay for itself many times over. I would recommend it.
