The spout (like all of them) is garbage. Make sure to order a regular spout unless you like spilling gas everywhere.
Love the album. It came from Canada.Just disappointed the Jacket was not double like the USA made back in 70

It seems to be a good quality and easy to use. They are definitely good value for money especially comparing the price of 1 in the stores.

Nice sturdy cans but did not like the spout. I replaced it with a regular, normal gas can spout. A lot better now!

This is a great can if you immediately take the spout and throw it in the garbage. Replace it with an EZ-Pour Spout and vent. Also, remove that plastic insert with a pair of vice grips or needle nose pliers.

3.0 out of 5 stars Who broke perfectly good fuel cans??!!

The EPA compliant safety nozzle on this and other gas cans is horrible. It is damn near impossible to hold 5 gallons in one hand while hold the nozzle back with the other. At 60yrs old I have used a lot of gas cans over the years and this nozzle system is junk!

Other than that the can works fine to hold fuel. I took 2 stars off for the nozzle and will be replacing them shortly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Going to get cheap gas? You need this.

Got this based off of a Project Farm review. For the price it beats a lot of the cheaper alternatives and it is very durable. I needed it as one of my cars had no fuel. This held 4.4 gallons quite comfortably with room to spare. I also will use this when I go to a gas station where gas is cheaper so I can fuel up my other car.

It may be confusing if you've never used one of these before so refer to my video. You need to first push the red trigger in until it clicks. This will allow the fuel spout to retract and allow fuel in the container to pour out.

Also make sure you keep the red cover. This cover is used to ensure that fuel doesn't leak out in the event it tips over.

Tip: In many cases, due to the angle and size of the container, you will not be able to remove all the fuel in the container while filling up the fuel tank of your car. What I did is pour the remaining fuel in a small, empty bottle (like a fuel cleaner bottle) with the same diameter of the spout and pour that bottle into the fuel tank. Just be sure that the bottle is free of contaminants. Or to make it simpler, just use a long and wide appropriate funnel for the fuel tank and you can pour the gas out from the canister using the funnel.

1.0 out of 5 stars The “safety” spout ruins what would otherwise be a great gas can
Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2024
This gas can is a perfect example of a product that is ruined by the addition of features that add no value but instead reduce the value of the product. There need be nothing fancy about a gas can, least of all the spout. This can’s spring loaded spout is held in the closed position and will not dispense gas unless the user reads the instructions, depresses one lever until it clicks, then presses another lever against the side of the tank being filled in order for fuel to flow. This multi step process simply does not work on my generator or my lawn mower and I refuse to buy a $15 replacement spout for a $24 So, I drilled a few holes on the inside of the spout (see pic) and now I can use the can.
