Excellent product, beats having to manually ratcheting back the straps. All you have to do is press the button and they easily wrap back up themselves.

I don't usually have a lot of time to get my kayak out these days, and my old ratchet straps took forever (having to feed the entire strap through the buckle, rachet down, and then secure the massive tails). With these AUGO's, I can load my yak on the roof rack and have it secured within a minute or so and be on my way to the nearest open or closed waterway! And they look sharp. Removing them is just as quick and easy... I hate that I never had these before now and that I missed so much time on the water as a result. Two caveats though... 1) there is no good place to hold the buckle while ratcheting, so mind the pinch points and watch your fingers! (a handhold opposite the lever would be a nice revision), and 2) it would be nice if the set came with 4 soft loops instead of 2 so you don't have to rely on the hooks on two ends (but I assume they may be trying to upsell a separate order of loops... first 2 are free kid!), but it's only $10 for a set of 6 if you need 'em. Also, use caution when retracting!! The springs are powerful and will whip the hooks around (it hurts! lol). Hold onto the tail before you press the button and ease the strap in.

These tie-downs not only secure my motorcycle, the ratchet feature is time saver when I'm strapping it down. They work very well for me.

Handy and Quick

I love that they are easy to use and put away. No more having to secure the "tail" of the strap so that it doesn't drag or flap in the wind. Retracting the strap after use is much better than wrapping up old school straps and securing them with Velcro straps.
I wish these were longer, but I understand that they would be more bulky to store if they accommodated much more length. The extra "soft loops" help extend them and offer the ability to secure to things the hooks can't latch to. Keep in mind that if there is a lot of strap still wound up on the ratchet, that you need to ratchet more to tighten ALL of the strap around the ratchet.
