5.0 out of 5 stars Value!!!!

DO NOT HESITATE. DON'T SECOND GUESS YOURSELF. BUY THIS HEADSET!! If your a picky little snoot. Then go buy you a $500 Sena so you can tell everyone you have a Sena.

My wife and I were going to a rally. It's a decent ride and wanted communication and some tunes. This headset was under $40. Some of the reviews were negative, some positive. So I bought a pair to try. As far as bang for buck YOU CANT BEAT THESE!!!!!

We rode to the BBB rally. It's a 4 hour ride there, rode all weekend and then a 4 hour ride back. Made phone calls, listen to music, did the two-way radio thing. Did it all on a single charge!!!!

There are pros and cons to this headset, but I'm telling you, for less than 40 bones.....I'm buying two more so we can all have a set.

Pros......value, ease of use and battery life! They are not complicated. Easy to install and they sound good. Especially when I use my equalizer on my phone. The quality of your helmet will drastically improve your listening experience!!!! I have a cheaper noisy helmet, so on the highway I'm at max volume, but let me tell you, when I'm just cruising in town I have to turn them down. They are loud for me. They pair up fast. When a call comes in while riding, the transition from music to phone and back is automatic and seamless! I ask people how I sound when talking on the phone, they say I'm clear as a bell. Very minimal background noise for the other person on the line. They say they can hear my pipes (Harley-davidson with V&H long shots)
But I'm still loud and clear, so the noise canceling is effective. I can ride at highway speeds and still hear my tunes. It could be a tad louder, but I think if I had a better helmet or a more quiet helmet it would change that.
I can use all the buttons and functions while wearing gloves. The main button is a large button and the smaller ones stick out far enough I can feel them even wearing winter gloves. There's only 4 buttons to push and it's a very simple headset.

Cons.....really not very many. They are easily overlooked because these things only cost $36.00!!!!! But here are mine.
Sound quality could use a bump. So better sounding speakers and a tad louder for highway riding. The instructions say once a set has been paired together, it's supposed to be a one touch push to enable two way communication between riders. When you want to do intercom, everyone can't just start pushing the intercom buttons. One person needs to initiate the intercom process, then the other parties can join. The transition to intercom was always successful, but sometimes we had to try a few times. It wasn't as seamless as the radio to phone to radio. However, we were always able to make it work. Phone calls at highway speeds. I'm always clear as a bell, however the person I'm talking to, sometimes they are hard to hear at highway speeds. I think that boils down to, just needs a bump up as far a speaker quality and a more quiet helmet. Intercom at highway speeds, I actually had to turn my volume down! Now if I had bought a 300 or 400 Sena headset, I would expect zero issues. But this is a $40.00 headset that in my opinion can't be beat.

I haven’t had the chance to use the mic other than a phone call but it was clear and worked. Easy install and it fit right in my helmet. It’s comfortable. It’s not as loud as I would like but music is clear and a decent sound.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wrong Charger, Good Sound

Works, good sound (gets really loud, but statics at high volume), fits perfect in helmet. Came with a type C charger, but takes a micro usb. Intercom & Bluetooth are separate modes (disconnects from Bluetooth when switching to intercom). Not really noise canceling. Just got today.

3.0 out of 5 stars They work well, but not really for me

I ignored the reviews about the volume being too low to hear because a lot of the other reviews said they were fine......well.....they actually sound really good inside the helmet when I was testing them, but as soon as I started riding I could barely hear it at all at max volume. I think that's a little rough considering my helmet's spaces for the speakers are right next to my ears. The caveat is that my bike is pretty loud, so it may work fine for you, but if you're like me and ride a cruiser with loud pipes, it's probably gonna be anywhere from washed out to incomprehensible. The form factor and ease of use are great and I'm probably going to keep them as a backup or for my kid's helmet. I'm honestly torn between a 3 and a 4 even though they're not for me.

Im going to start with my con, the lower volume. I can hear it ok at 80mph with no windscreen, but kinda low. A little more volume would be amazing. I read these reviews before I purchased and saw alot of people installing them weird and complaining. The microphone is very clear, but be careful to put it in a place were your vent doesn't blow into it and it's not in your mouth. I also see people mounting the unit in awkward positions, it looks sloppy and they complain. Great value for your money!

If you are between 20 to 30 you will be fine it's not quiet it is missing bass but it's fine it's better then fighting ear buds all the time. I slipped them in in under 3 min and was riding with music for lunch break. Set up was simple. The value is incredible for what they are. I will buy another set for the atv

2.0 out of 5 stars Microphone audio quality is garbage!!
Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2024
Purchased this for wife’s helmet mainly to connect to my Sena equipped helmet for intercom capabilities. Was able to link this to the Sena
fairly easily. Speaker audio isn’t very loud, but clear and good enough - wife can hear me clearly from my Sena. Biggest problem is the microphone audio on this set is totally useless. While she can hear me clearly, all I can hear from her is a choppy and distorted transmission, especially when moving. If all you need is to listen to music and/or GPS audio, then is product is perfect. If you need 2-way audio, spend your money elsewhere for a better product. I’ll be returning this, but not sure how I’m going to remove the adhesive that is now affixed to the side of the helmet ????
