 Says to spray and leave on 1 minute then rinse off with a force wash. I tried that but the rims on my bus were super gross so I used my drill with the cleaning attachment and it definitely did the trick! Very clean!

My car is 3 weeks old so not very dirty. I wanted to put a ceramic finish on the glossy black wheels so I tried this product to clean any brake dust off first. I doused the wheels, working on one at a time and followed the directions. I scrubbed with a soft wheel brush as well, though I didn’t think I would have needed to. Well, I definitely needed to, because even with the brushing, there was still brake dust residue remaining. I had to go over each wheel again with a cloth to get it all. If this was needed for relatively clean new wheels, I can’t imagine how much elbow grease would be needed for filthy wheels. A bit disappointed because I usually love this brand. Not a total disaster, just expected to be able to spray and rinse, and not break my back bending and scrubbing and bending again and wiping.

Best thing about this product is that it smells good, kin of like banana candy!

It promises to clean black tires effortlessly but fails miserably in every aspect.

Firstly, instead of cleaning, it leaves behind a stubborn yellowish stain on the tires, making them look even worse than before. Trying to remove this stain is like trying to erase permanent marker from a whiteboard - nearly impossible.

Secondly, its claim to tackle black brake dust is laughable. This cleaner doesn't even make a dent in the layers of grime and dirt accumulated on the rims. I ended up having to resort to manual scrubbing with a brush, defeating the purpose of using a supposedly effective wheel cleaner.

To add insult to injury, there's no return policy, so you're stuck with this useless product once you've wasted your money on it. Save yourself the disappointment and steer clear of Meguiar's Hot Rims Black Wheel Cleaner. It's nothing but a costly mistake waiting to happen.

This wheel cleaner did a great job of removing grime and dirt from my wheels. My only criticism is the orange color of the product was very difficult to wash off my tires and rims. I had to follow up with a clean brush and rinse several times to get the orange film off.

This works great!!! It takes all the brake dust off! but, you do end up using like half a bottle for four wheels.
