I chose this one becasue it was 7mil (good thickness) and black. It works great under my new tent. You can't see it, but I went camping last weekend with this new tent and the tarp kept the underside of my tent free from damage. Perfect fit for a 10x14 base tent.

Cheap decent quality tarp

Used a couple of these to patch a section of our leaky roof. Held up longer than the expensive tarp we had up, but still eventually ripped out of the tie down holes. This is more due to the high gusting winds and storms here than to the quality of the tarp. In normal conditions I'd say this is more than sufficient quality.

Fantastic protection for our Wood Platforms

These tarps are 7 ply. We had used round pool covers for our 20 ft. in diameter wood platforms before and the mil was so thin that they fell apart. These lasted all winter in over a foot of snow. We purchased 6 for our 6 existing platforms and will purchase more for the remaining 7 platforms we are building.
