I got a can that didn’t have much pressure in it. I followed the instructions but the can only oozed out and wouldn’t inflate tire. Amazon doesn’t let you return a defective can of this stuff. Instead they refer you to a phone number which goes straight to voicemail. I was finally able to get ahold of them after they left me a voicemail and they sent a replacement can no questions asked. It took a few weeks to get the replacement can but the replacement can works as advertised and I am happy with the result.

I initially bought a small can locally and installed it according to directions. That slowed the leak quite a bit. But it was low again 4 days later. I bought the large can here on Amazon; installed it and that stopped the leak.
Awesome design and looks great. Can be adjusted easily and put on either handlebar.

If you plan to throw the tire away but just need it one more ride this is the stuff. Please always tell your mechanic if you used this in your tire!! ALWAYS TELL YOUR MECHANIC THE TRUTH and hope they do it back.

I purchased this can of Fix-A-Flat to fix, what I believe, is a rim leak on my truck tire which needs to be filled once every week or so. When I attempted to use the product I let some air out of the tire (down to 25 psi) so it would be easier to dispense the contents. The instructions on the can say to have the valve on the tire at the 6 o'clock...which I did as well.

When I attempted to make the connection using the swivel connector on the can's hose it was difficult. The hose on the can is very short and stiff and because it came coiled in the can's lid, did not want to straighten out making connecting it to the tire a very awkward process. It was hard to screw the hose end on the valve without it binding so it felt like it was cross-threading. I have machined aluminum valve caps and they go one very easily so I know the threads on the tire's valve stem are clean.

I finally did get it on and when I attempted to dispense the contents it filled the hose but that was about it. I could not see any contents flowing thru the hose at all. I assumed it was not on far enough so I took it off to try again and the contents sprayed everywhere showing it was indeed under pressure....just not going into the tire. After multiple tries the hose end eventually just broke off and stayed on the tire's valve stem. I was able to get it off, but at this point the can is useless to me.

Obviously I cannot and will not recommend this product. I have used this product before and had success, but that was when the hose was longer and wired to the side of the can making it much easier to use, versus how they are shipped now. I would recommend going with another product or possible going to a box store (which is what I plan to do) to find one that does not have this design. At the very least, if you do choose to disregard this review, I would try it with the tire's valve stem at the 3 or 9 o'clock position which might make it easier to thread the hose end on to the valve stem,.

Also, if you choose to go this route you might just be throwing your money away. I attempted to get a refund from Amazon and was directed to the manufacture's web site. From there you are directed to use the 800 number of leave a general message that is in no way connected to your Amazon purchase. Past experience tells me it will not be an easy process so it looks like I am out the $12.

I first bought two canisters in May 2020 (for $34) and though probably long expired, I expect they might be useful in case of an emergency. Granted using tire patches and/or repeatedly pumping the offending tire(s) using a portable air pump may be easier on the tire/repair shop (as employees have said that this sealant is difficult to remove), this sealant might be better than nothing. Whenever possible I recommend buying in person and inspecting all tools for defects, but hopefully that will not apply to this hand-delivered Fix-A-Flat. For all this while being sold at a decent price, these “Fix-A-Flat 20 oz (Large Tires)” canisters get a serviceable 3/5 stars!
