I absolutely love this pillow!! I don't mean to fangirl out but this pillow was so wonderful after my c-section. It provided lots of support and I was able to bring my baby right up to me without hurting my incision.
I was able to keep vitamin D drops, nail file, chapstick and a burp cloth in the pockets. The removable layers are brilliant. It's really customizable so I was able to get a lot of use out of it as my baby grew and we got more practice. Now that I don't need a nursing pillow I took the foam out and use the pillow part for tummy time.
I do wish the strap was fully removable because I didn't need it after a while, that's the only thing I would change. I ended up tucking it and zipping it inside as best I could.
Also the cover is machine washable! My baby is a spitter so that was incredibly useful. It's really loud to dry with the buckles so I flipped it inside out and zipped it closed to keep the noise down.
I wish I'd bought this pillow from the start (I had another that I sent back) it was such a good buy and we can still find use for it now. Postpartum is hard. C-sections complicate things. Nursing can be challenging. This pillow made me so happy in those early days I literally cried about it lol. With some skillful positioning I was even able to eat while nursing, which is amazing when you're starving all the time but only have minutes to spare.
