My boys are tall/long and hot sleepers. These are the perfect sleep sacks for them. They wash well, even after multiple washes are still soft, the zipper is good quality (not a two way zipper so you have to line it up every time) and it’s not too hot for them. We love these sleep sacks, they seem to be the only ones that work for them. The material is just as soft as their pjs.

We love the Burt's Bees sleep sacks! When my son started daycare, we needed to send him with a sack. We ordered the Burt's Bees because the material looked soft and the easy zipper was something we wanted. The material is soft, lightweight, and durable. It has lasted through many washes and still looks as good as ever! The zipper is easy to do quickly as baby is getting sleepy, unlike some other brands that felt like you had to fight to close it. The length has always been great for our little guy, who is a bit tall for his age. We have continued to buy these for friends and family when they are having babies!

I adore this sleep sack. My son really enjoys it, it’s the perfect light-weight TOG that suits our home which we keep around 71 degrees Fahrenheit. It has a really cute print and a few nice features that make it more functional than other sleep sacks we’ve tried, like the Halo one. This one has a really nice, thick zipper that tucks away seamlessly. It’s also a nice length that will grow nicely with him. He’s currently 4 months old and 25 inches and has plenty of space to wiggle around. Can’t beat the price of these, especially for being 100% organic cotton. Will definitely be purchasing more as he grows.

I loved the quality of material and that it was 100% organic cotton. It was super soft and the color scheme of the dinosaurs was super cute. I thought the sizing was spot on. However, the zipper was problematic from the moment I opened the package.

I did purchase this in another size and the zipper seems fine. I will update if it becomes a problem. I would suggest a two way zipper.

Update: the elephant design that I purchased in a larger size has been excellent. The zipper has not caused any issues. I updated to 5 stars if there are no zipper issues.

Very soft cotton material. It is lightweight yet feels cozy. It is quite large - my small 9 month old has a lot of room in the medium. I like the strong, wide metal zipper. Feels very secure and easy to maneuver. Easy to zip from the bottom for diaper changes. Seems like my baby is very comfortable in it.

I was indecisive about which pattern to get, but I wanted to see the quality of these before buying two. I ended up going with the Dinosaur pattern which is so adorable. I didn’t notice in the pictures, but there are tiny bumble bees flying by the Dino’s! The organic cotton is softer than I expected. I was worried about the thickness, not wanting it to be too hot or too cold. This week, every night has hit the negative digits, with chill warnings. Tonight it’s -8° F, in Colorado. I put my son in this Beekeeper, over a pair of fleece pajamas, and it feels perfect. I can only compare it to a high quality comforter. I would definitely recommend and will be buying the other pattern that I liked.

SIZING: I didn’t know if I should order the Small (0-6 months), or the Medium (6-12 months). For reference, my son is currently 5 months old, weighing 15 lbs, and 25” long. Due to his measurements, rather than his age, I decided to go with the Medium. The Small would have only allowed him 1” of extra space in length. I’m happy I ordered the Medium. It allows him an extra 5” of room at the bottom. It measures at 30”, giving him plenty of room to grow, yet the top fits him perfectly. I was worried it would be too big and therefore not safe. Yet, as I said the top fits him just right, so I feel good about him safely sleeping in it. I feel that this was a very reasonable price for a high quality item that my son will easily be able to wear for the next few months.

*** RATING: The only reason I took off one ⭐️ is due to a stain/marking of some sort on the material. Please see photos for reference, it appears to be something like blue pen ink. At first, I thought it was part of the pattern, as you can see there are a few splashes of color here and there. However, after further examination it is the only mark in a distinct blue color, unlike like gray and green splashes included in the design. I’m not even sure how blue pen ink could get on it, seeing as it’s sealed in plastic. It can be opened and resealed, which makes me wonder if someone opened it, saw the stain or stained it themselves, and returned it? Either way, Burt’s Bee’s obviously didn’t exam or notice the ink spot. I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about when ordering.

TLDR; I just wanted to explain that my removal of one star is not due to the item itself, rather the accidental pen ink that ended up on the Beekeeper. As far as the actual item- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way around for quality, warmth, softness, value, pattern, etc.

These are wonderfully made! We like to keep our AC on 68 in the summer as my husband and I like to sleep cool, and I was concerned our little girl would be to cold in our room. These are so well made and the 1.5 TOG is nice a warm enough for her to stay comfortable with a sleeper on without overheating. The fabric is nice and soft. While she’s only 5 weeks, I wanted to start transitioning her out of a swaddle before my maternity leave is over so she can sleep independently while at daycare. A couple days ago I began keeping one arm out of her Halo swaddle and last night put her in this sleep sack. She did GREAT her first night and really seems to like this. Yes, she had her normal active sleep cycles, but slept great during her deeper sleep hours.
I bought two to be able to exchange while washing. Will definitely buy more as she grows until she is old enough to use an actual blanket.
