Can training pants replace diapers?

No, these are not diapers. There is a little more padding for absorbency but they can't hold a lot urine like a diaper. Training underwear is softer than diaper. A great in-between when transitioning from pullups.

Are these training pants be machine washable?

Yes, machine washable, but hand wash is of highly recommended which prolong the life of underwear.

Are they leak proof?

There is a good amount of absorption. But not leak proof. It does a good job for small accidents. Bigger accidents, it will eventually soak through.

Is this reccomended for nighttime potty training? Would this leak?

No, this will not work for night time potty training, it's not pull-ups and don't soak up all night's urine, it does leak, but relatively less than a regular underwear as our training pants have a thick padding.

Needed to use a special liner with these?

For a big accident you would need backup but for little accidents it absorbs pretty well.

Like the fit of these for my petite little girl. The quality is top notch and she loves the bright colors and being able to choose her panties. Versatile for daytime, travel, or night use and happy to know different sizes can be ordered when she outgrows the 12 month ones if needed, age range seems quite high. These perform well with urine release but haven’t had poo ???? yet. Please note- hand wash or gentle cycle and line dry only. Heat from dryer would probably ruin water proof capability

Great design for my Dino obsessed grandson. Biggest problem we had was which pair to choose each day. Well made, good fit and he seemed comfortable with them on.

The size and quality of these underwear has been great. My son likes the design, colors and they do a good job of absorbing minor pee and leaks. The elasticity is durable and these are versatile for night or day time wear.

Awesome training pants, shaped generous to fit front & backside. Very absorbent as the outside is slick & seems thicker than just cotton alone. But they also feel thicker as we’ve tried other brands too. Only complaint is the tag is in the front so it confuses my daughter since most USA clothing, tags or labels are in the back. She often wears backwards but like I said, the shape is not skimpy or high cut on the hips so it doesn’t make a difference. There is more material for the butt though so I can tell. These are more square shaped. But since she’s ASD, I often don’t bother having her fix them to avoid a meltdown.

I thought that these were going to be like the training pants from forever ago with a thick padded crotch. Not so! They are somewhat padded but are more like underpants but thicker. Durable. Easy on, easy off. He can put them on and take them off with ease. True to size. I bought them for my 3 year old grandson who is bigger and taller than average. He wore a size 5/6 in diapers and disposable training pants. I purchased the size 5T and they are a perfect fit! Bonus on the assortment of fun colors and designs. He likes to pick out which ones to wear.????

 We love this brand's training pants. In fact, this is about the fourth set we've ordered from Big Elephant. Buying them in this larger lot is very affordable. These are the cutest, softest, most comfortable, absorbent, cost-effective potty training panties I've found with two toddlers in different stages of training. Throw the tag is inside on the back of these underwear, they don't seem to bother even sensitive skin too much. The colors and patterns are adorable. They are sized well and easy for toddlers to take off and put on themselves. Toddler- and gma-approved!

My son’s daycare teacher recently said she wants him in underwear and I was completely unprepared yeah they’ve been potty training but he’s only been in the school since May 6th so I was like wait what? Underwear? I bought these on a quick thing if trying to get them in as soon as I could and get the best deal! I absolutely love them, the padding in the middle is amazing, the protection he gets, he has had a few accidents in them and they have held up good, they seem a little big for a 5t but I’d rather them be a little big in the waist than too small, he loves them and I’m one happy mama. ????
