I've wanted a clock like this ever since the expensive Phillips device came out several years back. Now there are many around that work like it does for a far more reasonable cost, so I decided to finally test one out.
I really like that this combines a few different devices all into one and saves some space. I really can't fall asleep unless I use a sound machine. I like still having an actual alarm clock rather than just my phone. The sunrise lamp part is something I'm hopeful will help in resetting my internal clock to and get my circadian rhythms aligned properly.
The clock plugs into the wall. It clock has all the buttons you need to use across the top. There are quite a few, but it's pretty easy to figure it out. There are a lot of sounds to choose from, which is nice. I just like the white noise though. I very much appreciate the clock not being blue or bright. You can actually dim the clock, which is great. I don't use the "night light" feature because you really should sleep with the room as absolutely dark as possible, but it's there for the people who need to use it. If you do use it, it would be best to use the red light.
The sunrise light part of the clock works just fine, but I'm in the midst of an insomnia phase, so I haven't really been able to properly use it. I'm just thankful to get any sleep when I can, so I haven't been using it to wake me up. I do believe that and the wake up sound would be a gentle and gradual wake up, which is ideal so you aren't abruptly woken in the middle of a sleep phase. I am very much looking forward to using that part of the clock when I'm able to.
The clock is not as expensive looking or aesthetically pleasing as the Phillips or Hatch, but it works the same and costs a lot less. If you can't/don't want to spend on the pricey versions, I think you'd be happy with this. There really isn't anything negative to say about this clock that I've found so far.

It has a wide variety of sounds and the quality is pretty good. You can adjust the volume without too much distortion. The light is large and you can choose from an assortment of colors. We keep it on all night and at a dimmer setting so we can walk in and out of the kitchen without having to turn the lights on and wake the puppies.
The clock is fairly easy to set and keeps the time very accurately. I haven't used the alarm function. The buttons on top are almost the same size and shape except for a few and they are difficult to tell what their function is just by looking at the symbol. Some require a short press to change and a long press to cancel. I actually had to read the manual to figure out how to turn the sound on and off and turn the light off. It is not an intuitive design and you can reach out and press the buttons in the dark to shut it off. It is also top heavy and easily tipped over if you try to shut it off next to your bed.
The last note is that it is powered by a proprietary cord and must be plugged in to work. If you lose or damage this cord, it's not a simple replacement. It has a button style battery for powering the clock during power loss but you must keep it plugged in. In this day and age, small appliances should use USB or USB-C type cords for easy replacement. While it is a very nice sound machine, keep in mind that it has to be plugged in at all times and is not really portable or small. For the price, it has some problems.

A very nice sound machine with plenty of options that performs well and is pretty easy to learn how to program even without the manual. I found that the nightlight which also functions as the sunrise can be adjusted in brightness from 0 to extra very bright considering a dark bedroom so with the sunrise at full brightness I can see the light even with my eyes closed. The unit can be used 2 ways, you can use it to fall asleep selecting one of 30 sounds with adjustable volume and adjustable time although the time intervals are limited to hours not minutes and also to wake up in the morning however now the sound that plays is limited to just I think 4 different sounds which I found very disappointing considering it has 30 sounds in there somewhere and you can also program how long it takes for the sun to rise if you activate that feature. It also has a snooze button which will turn off the light and sound for a short time. So overall a really cool sound machine with a decent amount of options that has pretty darn good sound quality as well.
When I first plugged the unit in and started playing with it after about 15 minutes the display went blank and the light would flash every second or two and it appeared the unit would no longer work. I unplugged it however when I plugged it back in a few minutes later it just repeated the same problem. The following day I took it into work to see if I could fix it so I plugged it in to duplicate the problem however no problem was found and the unit has worked perfectly ever since so I don't know what that was about.
