Just a little backstory. We purchased a $200. Seat right off the bat thinking surely this seat would hit all of our requirements. Well guess what? The expansive seat has not even been used for various reasons so we decided to buy THIS one for literally a fraction of the cost and it has hit ALL of our requirements. Btw everyone please use some common sense when placing your newborn into the seat i.e. use a rolled up receiving blanket to support the babies head and tilt the seatback in order to make the baby more comfortable as well as use some ingenuity concerning the placement of the baby. Our baby is 1 month old and he CANNOT stay awake in this seat. Sure weve customized his seat while so small but shoot, for the money and what the seat offers, I'm kicking myself for NOT buying this seat FIRST.

I like it overall i just wish the music didnt pause for 2-3 seconds between songs because the baby needs constant noise, he fuses in between songs

Pros:

Price: Very budget friendly!... We even got ours on Amazon warehouse, new open-box, for half price! What a steal, totally recommend!

Size: Great for small spaces, very compact, and folds up neatly.

Portability: Awesome.... very lightweight, fold-up design couldn't be more space-saving, and it's battery operated, so no cords in the way.

Features: Several different swing speed settings and 2 volume settings for music. Upright and recline positions for seat. Removable cover for washing. Toy bar and safety harness are a plus. Neutral in color.

Cons:

Only battery operated, so if this is your primary swing, you'll need to stock up on batteries... though I've been using mine (as a secondary swing) for 3 months now on the same set of batteries without replacing them yet.

Aimed more for smaller infants, I'd say under 4 months depending on size/weight... its just not as roomy as full size swings and doesnt have the same power.... just my personal opinion.... not from the company.

The music is very loud, even on the lowest setting and the speaker points directly at baby's face... I ended up putting a small piece of tape over part of the speaker to reduce the output a bit. It worked great! You can still hear the music clearly just a little softer now for baby's ears.

Overall, I love the swing and think it was a great purchase for what we use it for!
Very handy, budget friendly, functional, reliable, and cute. Would purchase it again in a heartbeat.
It just comes down to your needs and whether this will be a good fit for you, your baby, and your lifestyle.

Batteries Die Quickly

You get what you paid unfortunately, my son love this but the batteries are a bit bigger so more expensive and last time we changed them they only lasted 2 uses. Time before that there was battery acid, other than that I loved this

My 41lb toddler appropriated his 4 month old brother's swing. It hasn't broken yet, still works great. The baby likes it too. It caused one spit-up but my baby has reflux and has sat for a feeding in the swing dozens of times with no spit up.
