5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE this travel stroller

We use our Uppababy Cruz V2 as our regular stroller, but we love this Buggaboo Butterfly! The size is amazing and fits compactly in the trunk of our CR-V, so we just keep it there for unplanned shopping trips and such.

The ride is smooth and it's comfortable to push for my husband (6'0") and I (5'8"). The wheel base is a little narrow in the back, but that's what makes it so compact when folded. I could see how it would be easy to tip, but you just have to be careful and not make sudden tight turns. We loop our hands through the safety strap when pushing on hills or in busy areas.

We really like the buckle and the fact that they kind of spring away from the seat, which makes it easy to buckle in a wiggly toddler. I also like that each strap buckles on it's own.

I thought I wouldn't like the lack of a true peekaboo window on the canopy, but I actually don't mind it at all. If I want to see my daughter, I just unzip the expander and look at her through the mesh panel.

I like the reclining mechanism of the stroller seat, and my favorite thing about it is how tall the seat back is! Our toddler is tall for her age and so many other travel strollers have seat backs that looked uncomfortable for her. This one works really well for her! The footrest is also really nice to have so she can prop up her tired legs.

I can't bring myself to pay $39 for a cupholder, but I do like the bumper bar accessory. It also comes with a rain cover, which is nice for those of us in the PNW.

I would highly recommend this for those looking for a compact but high-end stroller. We're looking forward to using it for plane travel soon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect.

This stroller has been perfect for our baby. She's is tall and the other strollers where too small for her. We tried the yoyo, the ergobaby, and the city tour 2 but this one was perfect. It's comfortable for travel as it folds easily and fits anywhere. We purchased the hand rail for her that she likes to hold on-to and we can attach a food and drink tray to as well. The bottom basket is a great size and holds everything you need. Handling is comfortable and easy. Not good on rough terrain, even the smallest cracks in the cement will give you issues. For us it's perfect.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very smooth ride but does scratch easily

Nice ride, high quality travel stroller which folds nicely and is very light and perfect for travel. The only downside is that it indeed scratches easily, like other reviews mentioned.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice stroller but some minor issues
Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2022
I just received my Bugaboo Butterfly stroller today and was super excited. It was easy to put together as only the seat padding was needed to put through straps, so it came assembled in the box. I was interested in the babyzen yoyo2 but went with this one because it was cheaper, included a foot rest, and was REALLY only one hand/one sec fold. Upon opening it and closing it for the first time took multiple times to get a real feel for how it folds compactly and opens, you do have to step on the bottom and kind of push the back part in for it to clip in place. This is not shown on any of the reviews and I thought this was critical because it is kind of an awkward feel. I did also find that opening the stroller was difficult. There are two safety locks that need to be pressed on the handle bar to open the stroller. One first, then the other. I don't know if I received a faulty product, but I did find that it gets "stuck" and is very hard to unlock the stroller when compact. It is not as easy as some of the video reviews I saw on youtube. After a few tries though, I was able to get a feel for the stroller as it has to be in a certain position in the compact lock to not get stuck when trying to open it. The shoulder strap also gets caught inside the stroller and is hard to find to get out. The "lock " feature on the leg/foot rest is actually hard to maneuverer and you have to have two hands for this. Overall I'm keeping the stroller because I need it for travel, but definitely looks very chic and is light weight. Would have gave it a 5 star if it wasn't for those slight annoyances.
I used to have the Doona(one of my favs) and it would have to be in a certain position to close easily, not a lot of reviews mentioned this. After a while and getting used to it, came as second nature. Hoping it's the same with this because I really do like it and the wheels are smooth and controlled.

Update 6/19
I was able to get around some of the struggles I had like the stroller has to be locked symmetrically in the compact position or else it gets stuck and is difficult to unlock and open the stroller. After multiple attempts I did get a feel for it. One thing I did notice when taking it out my feet would scuff the wheels on the back so how they are positioned you have to push the stroller away from your body a bit. Still overall a great compact lightweight travel stroller. I would recommend 100%

5.0 out of 5 stars Luxurious

I love how luxurious this feels. It is easy to open with only one hand. Light, but not flimsy or rickety. In fact it feels very sturdy. My three year old loves to ride in it. He seems to be comfortable while in it. It is compact so leaves a lot of space available for lots of other things in my trunk. I am loving it so far!
Update (January, 2024): Still loving it! It is holding up very well. Still feels sturdy. We traveled to the Disney parks and it was a bliss going through the crowd. Same at the airport. Perfect for travel! Will forever recommend to my friends and anyone who asks for the best travel stroller. This is our everyday stroller now!

5.0 out of 5 stars Expensive but worth it

I did so much research and decided to get this compact stroller for my very tall one year old. The wheels worked well, lots of room for him to grow and easy to collapse. We tested it out on our spring break trip and it saved so much car space. I know it will do great on our upcoming cruise and Paris. So happy!
