This new version checks so many boxes for me. It's charging is more convenient because it doesn't require a special charging stand only a usb-c cable which can be plugged into any device or charging port, which also means packing it is smaller and lighter and easier to travel with. With the addition of the foil razor, I can shave my entire body with this one razor in pretty much any form that I desire.
I like to use the foil razor for my face, because it's a much smoother and quicker option than using " the plow razor"
Additionally the blades have been redesigned to be safer on the skin. But if you are not careful you can Nick yourself, no razor is completely foolproof.

However, I am very unimpressed with the effectiveness of this razor. I have owned 2 different razors before this, and neither after years of use were as dull as this razor when it arrived! It doesn't cut anything and when it does it isn't even close to skin level. I found myself running over the same place around 3 or 4 times before it cut anything.
One problem I had with my old razors was that they heat up really fast, this razor was no different. Forget not getting nicked too! I was nicked just as much as my old razors.
This razor also came with a separate head, I don't know how to attach it, but I think I have to unscrew the current head, both my old razors can just swap heads with a button.
Very disappointing, already stoped using it
Both of my previous razors were from PHILLIPS and REMINGTON, both were under $25, waterproof, and worked twice as well, they also didn't need to charge over several weeks, this razor ran out of battery in under 15mins after charging for 2 days!!!!
