Amazing moisturizer!!!

I am 55 and one year post hysterectomy. My skin completely changed in menopause. It lost elasticity and hydration. I bought very expensive creams trying to help my skin. This one is a fraction of the cost and is actually working. The results are so good!! After four days of use I am hooked. My skin looks plump, hydrated, and bright. Do not hesitate to try this. It doesn’t smell great but that really doesn’t matter - what it does for your skin and the increase in hydration makes up for the smell.

I used to think that water based skin care products were absorbed by the skin best but then I learned about our skin barrier and how it's made up of lipids and, therefor, doesn't allow much water to pass through the epidermis. Instead, it sinks into the dry creases and feels like it's moisturizing your skin but, really, it's just resting on the top layer until it evaporates. What DOES penetrate the skin barrier and help to restore it, are lipids.
This cream contains many lipids and fatty acids which, when used long enough for the cellular turnover to occur (usually 30 days), it can restore and help new healthy cells to develop. They also seal in moisture.
The term "ceramide" is thrown around in skin care a lot. The skin barrier is made up of 50% ceramides so recoverin these ceramides helps to prevent damage and dry skin. This cream contains numerous different ceramides, all of which glide on the skin smoothly. It's not a dense cream that feels like a stick of butter but after applying it to the skin, you can feel the immediate effects from the fat molecules the cream contains. I felt my skin about 2 hours after applying it and it still felt as thought I had just put it on. So many brands make claims that include phrases like, "moisture that lasts for 100 hours," and I can't imagine that being true if you are washing your face within those 100 hours unless, you actually repair your skin in which case it will feel moisturized all the time.
This cream comes in a large tube and squeezes out the top. As mentioned, it doesn't look think, but it does the same, if not more, than thick and dense creams. A little goes a long way due to the fact that it isn't so dense. The ingredient list is jam packed with some great ingredients. They seemed to have left out a lot of the unnecessary fillers and used that space with some better things such as more lipids and plant extracts. The amount of product included in this tube at the price you ask, is truly impressive! I'm sold!

I wasn’t sure if I’d like this product because of how thick the cream is but it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. It definitely hydrates the skin well with a slight tacky feeling. It’s slightly oily but I’m here for the Korean Glass Skin look.

I have combination skin so it works well my skin type. Would recommend if you’re having issues with dryness!

Too heavy for my face, but great as a cream for the body

I have combo sensitive skin. I got this to help repair my skin barrier since I over exfoliated and had skin peeling off, but it wouldn’t absorb into my skin. I tried rubbing it in more and using by itself, but it would just sit on my skin. I slept with it on overnight to see if maybe it just needs a long time to absorb, but when I woke up it was still sitting on top and ended up giving me acne. I eventually gave up, but used it on my neck and ashy parts of my body and it made it feel super soft and moisturized.

Best cream I've ever used, great for tretinoin users

I recently started tretinoin and wanted to make sure I was protecting my skin barrier so I could avoid any flaking or irritation. This cream has worked beautifully! I don't know how its managed to be so lightweight yet so moisturizing. If you are one who likes to feel just a touch of dewiness after your moisturizer has done its thing, this is for you. Dewy, but not greasy or oily. I've tried vanicream. cerave, various la Roche posay moisturizers, but this one is *it*. My 52 year old skin is in heaven.

I got this as a dupe for Tatcha. Not sure it's a dupe, but I love the pricepoint and what it has done for my face. It is rich, creamy and very moisturizing. A little goes a long way so the value is great and the result is superb! It does not interfere with my makeup. Highly recommend for dry, aging skin.
