This was a blind buy for me. I have two other Lancome fragrances and they are top quality and Idole is no different. My husband loves this scent on me. At first it is strong but within 15 to 20 minutes when it starts to dry down it is soft and elegant. A definite fragrance for an evening out.

You literally only need one squirt and you’ll smell good all day and night! I will say, the first 30 minutes is really really strong and has a very mature scent, but after a couple hours it settles down to a nice clean and fresh smell and everyone will wanna be around you!

An evening spritz or two will delight whomever is lucky enough to share your night, and survive to the morning light with gentle notes of jasmine, bergamot, and musk. Decidedly feminine but not frou-frou, nuanced enough for someone a little older but playful enough for someone a bit more youthful, I find the lingering essence to be most delightful and am pleased that the staying power isn’t accompanied by an overwhelming delivery.

The flask-like bottle is marvelous! This is the first Lancôme perfume I’ve purchased and probably the second most feminine I’ve enjoyed. Ialso like Chacarel Anais Anais and Vesace Bright Crystal Absolu; this lands somewhere between for me and has the range to accommodate any number of occasions.

Long lasting fragrance. Smell is pleasant. Be careful though as the bottle is very thin glass. My accidentally rolled of counter and shattered into many pieces/shards. The smell lasted for days.
